Located inside of Harvest hill near the entrance :) Entrance fee for adult was 700yen for just viewing, 1000yen if you would like to have the opportunity to touch selected animals/ insects. There was a decent variety of insects and reptiles given its small size so we were pleasantly surprised! Staff were friendly and constantly handed us animals that we could touch as we slowly made our way around. Overall a good experience and a must visit if you are already heading to harvest hill.

To get in here it costs 700 yen at the entrance (kids 2 and under were free), and if you want to interact with the animals, an extra 300 yen (this applies at any age). However, once you pay, you can re-enter until 16:30 and enjoy it for as long as you like. Also, you can pay just the admission first and pay the extra fee if you feel like touching, so you can go in first and then decide whether to interact. It's also helpful that not the whole family has to pay—only the people who want to interact. There's a tap and soap next to the entrance/exit. There were all kinds of rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles, frogs, electric eels (you can touch them), lizards, snakes, and more, from popular species to rare ones. Especially with the electric eel, if you touch its belly you get a tingle like an electric bath. You can also wrap a snake around your neck, search for lizards in the sand, and so on—it was my first time interacting with reptiles, but it was fun. My kid loved it so much we could barely move on to the next area, that's how much we enjoyed it.

The way they ran the interaction experience was super good, and my kid was totally satisfied! I've already been about 5 times this year! Especially being able to take photos with a Hercules is really, really great!! You can also do the electric catfish experience and the snake-around-your-neck experience, so I thought it's great for couples too!

It's right by the entrance gate, and you could re-enter until 16:30, so we went in as soon as we arrived and could stop by again on the way out—great deal! The staff keep guiding you one after another so you can interact with Hercules, electric catfish, snakes, lizards, and more It was my first time interacting with them, but the gecko was cute and so soothing💕 It was really fun, so I recommend entering with interaction for an extra 300 yen!

Went with my kid. In the interaction experience we touched snakes and lizards. The staff were super kind too, it was a really nice space! They also sell insects, so next time I'd like to buy one!
