I had the seafood jjigae + half udon lunch set! It came with white rice in addition to what's in the photo. I chose the original soup base. It was spicy, but had a hint of miso flavor which was nice. People who like spicy food should definitely try it.

I didn't eat it, but the mini bibimbap looked delicious. It seemed like many people ordered the original jjigae. Banchan? There are various items in bite-sized portions, but personally they didn't taste good to me, though the main sundubu was delicious. The restroom is a bit hard to find, but if you go outside and to the left, there is a door right away, open it and go up the stairs.

A restaurant located in a quiet back alley in a residential area. Just in time for lunchtime, the restaurant was full. It seems jjigae dishes are popular, so I decided to have the seafood soft tofu, gamjatang, and pork galbi bowl set. The set comes with soup and 2 side dishes. Tomato kimchi and a fluffy, fishcake-like processed paste. Both have a gentleness amidst the spiciness that brings out the flavor of the main dish. The gamjatang has a savory, sweet and spicy miso base. The hearty, chunky pork spare ribs were completely satisfying, and the richness made it impossible to stop eating rice. The seafood soft tofu, on the other hand, is a flavorful soup infused with abundant seafood broth. It has a different delicacy from the gamjatang, with a mild spiciness that gently soaks into the body. The only thing that bothered me was Korea's characteristic flat metal chopsticks. They are quite tricky, and the tofu escaped several times. I feel a bit of respect for Korean people who can wield them freely. It's not far from the station, nor is it prominent, but there is a clear reason why people gather here. It was that kind of restaurant.

I've been visiting occasionally since a few years ago! After all, jjigae is the only choice! The homemade flavor (sweet and spicy, full of umami 🥺) is very delicious ♡ The kimchi is refreshing enough that I want to eat a lot of it on its own, moderately spicy and delicious 🤤 The fact that there is a Japanese fan (uchiwa) on the table is also quietly appreciated 😮‍💨🫶🏻

Various items for 2 people 5000 yen It feels like a family-run business with kids and coming to someone's house. The jeon and chicken have thin batter keeping the ingredients as they are. The jjigae and sauce are sweet, turning into something like tteokbokki broth.
