This is my second time dining in this unagi restaurant. Unagi here taste great as well as their umaki. The waiting time is a little bit long but you can get unlimited hot tea while waiting for your order to be served.

Anyway, it's so delicious! I hesitated a lot between the unadon "Matsu" and unaju, but the unadon "Matsu" also had eel between the rice, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It comes with clear soup, pickles, and a side dish of jellyfish and cucumber. Freshly grilled is exceptional after all. Let's prepare for the grilling smoke when visiting! It says on the net that the holiday is Wednesday, but when I checked with the owner, it seems to be two days, Wednesday and Thursday! The eel of a long-established store is moving. I visited with a reservation just in case.

I had the eel set meal (4000 yen). Kabayaki, umaki, uzaku, and soup are included, and this price is appreciated. In addition to set meals, unadon and unaju are also available. 3 table seats and tatami seats. About 5 minutes walk from JR Sakai City Station. Information as of January 2026

Revisited in 2024. The owner told me that the eel is from Kagoshima Prefecture. Prices have gone up a bit, but it's still delicious. He said that it can sell out, so it's better to make a reservation in advance. Umaki is also very delicious ♬ Recommended.

I came here hearing it's a famous eel restaurant in Sakai, and I was guided to a seat using tatami and zabuton so the atmosphere was good and the staff were kind and nice ✨ The eel also had crispy skin and a charcoal-grilled aroma and was delicious! I understand why it's said to be a famous popular restaurant!
