There are various ramen chain stores, but personally, Krairai Tei is my absolute favorite. I find myself wanting to eat it regularly and visiting. I usually order the rich kotteri ramen, but during this hot season, I find myself choosing cold noodles more often. The spicy version is a particular favorite of mine, as the moderate spice stimulates my appetite, making my chopsticks keep moving even on hot days 🌶️ This time I also ordered my favorite pork kimchi set meal. The robust seasoning of the pork kimchi pairs exceptionally well with white rice, and the rice disappears in no time (lol). The crunchy texture of the cucumber in the cold noodles provides a nice accent, and while refreshing, it's also satisfying. It's a bowl I instinctively crave when summer arrives 🍜 I enjoyed it deliciously this time too and was thoroughly satisfied. Next time I'll probably struggle between choosing the classic kotteri ramen or going for the cold noodles again. I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal 😊✨
View on GoogleI visited alone right after opening, and first of all, the counter seats are super clean! The staff also greeted me cheerfully, and at this point, anything you eat would taste good, but the ramen is genuinely delicious too!! Even though it's my first time at Kairai Tei, why does it feel nostalgic? Is it because of the Kyoto-style soy sauce flavor loaded with back-fat?! I'll get a large portion next time!!
View on GoogleI visited for the first time in several years, and whether the interior was renovated, the tatami seating had been changed to table seating, the counter seats were clean, and ordering had changed to a tablet! It's hot today too, so I was debating whether to get the cold noodles, but went with hot ramen after all! This time I got the ajitama ramen with added nori topping. I asked for the noodles to be extra firm (barikata), but they weren't that firmー. Back-fat light, green onions extra, spiciness normal. There was plenty of chashu inside, and I was relieved by the unchanging deliciousness☆ At other shops, I always thought ramen and nori went exceptionally well together, but today something feels different? Is it the soup? Is it the nori? This is a challenge that requires further research. Kairai Tei has various menus too, so coming back after a long time flips a switch, making me feel like I have to come again! A feeling like that (lol). I also deliciously enjoyed the gyoza☆ Thank you for the meal (୨୧ᵕ̤ᴗᵕ̤)
View on GoogleVisited at night. Had the hearty A set meal (ramen, gyoza, half chahan). It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal. On a subsequent visit, I had the chahan set meal (ramen, half chahan). Ordered the ramen with extra green onions. Satisfied with the unchanging deliciousness. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleWith its reliable deliciousness, it's my favorite chain restaurant. I'm grateful to be able to enjoy the same quality no matter which branch I enter. However, personally, there were way too many shouts and they were too loud, so I couldn't relax at all. While vibrancy is good, they said them to each group upon arrival, when ordering, when food came out, at checkout, and when leaving, so multiplied by the number of groups, it was noisy. Especially a woman's loud voice echoed in my ears... I'm sorry...
