I went for lunch near my worksite (^-^) What I ordered this time was: Jan Chashumen - 1,150 yen Half Fried Rice - 250 yen The ramen is a slightly rich stamina ramen! Slightly spicy with plenty of vegetables, it's really good (^-^) The noodles are thin and go together very well. As for the fried rice, I don't know what it was, but it had an unpleasant taste and smell that I just couldn't stomach. Sorry for leaving it unfinished m(__)m Thank you for the meal ✨
View on GoogleA shop I had been passing by for decades. I was curious, but the parking was tricky and it looked dated, making it hard to step inside. Since I'm leaving Sakai City, I thought "I better try it!" and visited. I chose the Jan Ramen with a spicy kick and crisp Chinese cabbage. I had seen a review calling it "somewhere between Kamukura and Saika," and that totally made sense! Personally, it's richer in soy sauce and spicier than Kamukura—seriously tasty and addicting! I wanted to dive a bowl of white rice into the soup. They also had tonkotsu ramen, fried rice, gyoza, and fried chicken.
View on GoogleMy favorite ramen shop that I've been visiting for a long time. It's about a 20-minute walk from Nakamozu Station or Fukai Station, and since there's parking, it's easy to go by car. Orders are placed via ticket machine. The recommendation is definitely the Jan Ramen! A spicy soy-sauce-based soup with chives, crunchy napa cabbage, and pork, which coats the thin noodles nicely. This soup has an addictive taste that leaves you craving it out of nowhere. The tonkotsu ramen is rich yet gentle in flavor, which I think is easy for children to enjoy as well. If you order a large portion, you get double the noodles and 1.5 times the soup, making it very generous and filling. The side dishes are also tasty; the fried rice is perfectly fluffy and loose, and the gyoza have a solid garlic kick that whets the appetite. What I personally recommend most is the karaage! They are large, and since they make them after ordering, it takes a little time, but they are freshly made and delicious. Not just the ramen, but even the sides are consistently great, making this a beloved shop I'll continue to visit as always!

This is my second visit, having come about 10 years ago. Jan Ramen: Slightly spicy and delicious. Karaage: Back then, the fried chicken was huge and shocking, but due to price hikes, it has become normal size now~ The taste was delicious ⭐︎
View on GoogleA restaurant I had been curious about every time I passed by here. Uses a ticket vending machine. Jan Ramen: Pork slices, chives, and napa cabbage—visually, it's unmistakably Tenri Ramen. It's spicy, savory, and with a slightly strong saltiness that pairs well with rice. Halfway through, add a spoonful of the garlic on the table. Delicious! Next, a spoonful of the spicy chives from the table. Man... The more you add, the tastier it gets!! The air conditioning was blasting so hard it was slightly chilly, but since this Jan Ramen is piping hot, it's surprising how comfortable you feel by the time you finish eating. A flavor that makes you want to go back. Plenty of combo sets, too.
