A popular Italian restaurant near the Shirasagi Gate of Osaka Prefecture University. Because seasonal ingredients delivered from all over the country, centering on Hokkaido, and sourced by an owner with farming experience won't wait, 5 items on the weekly changing menu change every week for 50 weeks a year (appetizer, bruschetta, pasta, main, dessert). Inside, it's a small shop with a total of 30 seats: 10 counter seats and 4 tables (20 seats). Courses start from 1,300 yen (there is also a counter-only course). *There is also a student-only Tanto course (from 1,000 yen). We recommend the Forchetta course (from 3,600 yen per person, orders starting from 2 people), which about 80% of visitors order. You can also incorporate the 5 weekly changing items. To let you experience the goodness of our restaurant...

An Italian restaurant located a few minutes walk from Shirasagi Station towards Osaka Metropolitan University. Opening days are weekdays for lunch, and a few times a month on weekends for dinner, so be sure to check Instagram, X, Facebook, etc., in advance to see when they're open! The menu also seems to change weekly and according to seasonal ingredients, and this time: The appetizers were: 'Smoked octopus and paprika marinade with tuna sauce. Balsamic flavor cauliflower aglio e olio' 'Homemade ham and semi-dried tomatoes' The pasta was: 'Tagliatelle with sika deer and burdock ragu sauce' The sika deer meat had no gamey smell, was packed with umami, and was insanely delicious! The fish was: 'Cod and potato galette' Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, it was delicious enough to make you want to keep drinking white wine. There were customers coming alone, so it felt easy to drop in. The owner gladly told us about how hungry we were and various things about the food, and we had a very delicious and fun dinner!

On weekday lunchtimes, they offer a weekly-changing, high-cost-performance lunch for students that is surprisingly hearty despite being authentically prepared without using commercially available ketchup or the like. Be careful, as even the regular portion is about as big as another shop's large portion. And on weekend nights, they serve dinners using seasonal ingredients acquired through the owner's personal connections (currently operating about two weeks a month). This menu also changes weekly. True to calling itself a trattoria, there's no pretentious feel at all; it's a dinner with a cozy, homey atmosphere. Because there's a university nearby, it's not uncommon for graduates to visit with their families and children. The chef has great skills and does meticulous prep work, so even ingredients with unique quirks can be enjoyed deliciously. I am simply grateful to be able to use a restaurant of this caliber for everyday dining.

To be honest, I didn't expect much when I went in, but it was better than I thought. Perhaps because it was right after opening, there were few people, and the interior was quiet and calm, which made it nice to eat at a leisurely pace. The price is also reasonable for these times. It's nothing special, but I think it's just the right kind of place for everyday use.

The taste is unquestionable, and it's a cozy Italian restaurant with a friendly owner. Normally, I feel nervous after entering because I don't know what to do, so I tend to shy away from places other than chain stores when I'm by myself. However, the owner of this shop talks to you so genuinely and casually that I was able to relax right after walking in. If you consult with them, they will help you figure out your order together, keeping in mind not only your preferences but also how hungry you are, haha. I suppose it's because it's located in a student district, but the portions are large and every dish is very delicious. I originally intended to just get a salad and pasta, but the main dish at the neighboring table looked so good that I couldn't help but place an additional order. I felt like my stomach was going to burst, but I was overflowing with satisfaction.

This is a restaurant I've been visiting since my student days. Before I knew it, it's been nearly 20 years. Time flies. For lunch, they make hearty, voluminous meals so that students can get full on a reasonable budget. Whenever I drop by occasionally, the nostalgic flavors bring back memories of those days. Dinner is a complete turnaround. Authentic. The weekly-changing menu is composed of seasonal ingredients, allowing you to experience very high-level Italian cuisine. Many ingredients are directly sourced from farmers in places like Hokkaido, preparing wonderful materials. Combined with the chef's meticulous preparation involving one or two extra steps, amazing dishes are served. I still remember realizing that this is what truly delicious food is all about. And before you know it, the beer and wine just keep going down! Eating lively with a group, or quietly in a small group. It's a recommended restaurant for either occasion! Dinner business days are irregular, so just keep that in mind.
