のらやNoraya
[Noraya Main Store] Noraya started in August of the 8th year of Heisei (1996) by handmade-building a 12-tsubo shop in Kishiwada. It was named "Noraya" from the stray cats ("noraneko") and stray huts ("nora-goya") that watched over it during construction. Wanting customers to enjoy a nostalgic space and freshly made udon, we were able to open stores in Osaka, Wakayama, Hyogo, Kyoto, and Tokyo. We operate aiming to be a restaurant that three generations of families can enjoy. If you spot Noraya's popular character "Nora-chan", please be good friends with her♪

The original store (総本店) of Noraya. If you like Udon, Soba. Please come here to try. I highly recommend you call them to reserve the private room. The whole building remain Shouwa style (昭和風). It's a very lovely place. Also their tea pots, dishes all used their mascot pattern, very cute.
View on GoogleIt’s really cute, the food is good but i mainly go for the cat theme. The utensils are cat themed and they sell some bowls, tea pots etc by the register. I tried a cat paw pastry once, it was alright.
View on GoogleNever have eaten here, but hope to make it one day! We love the Kitty theme and the story of the Stray cat that watched over the restaurant in the beginning. I also bought several pieces of your table ware , cups, and tea set and had them shipped to United States to my home. It is one of my wife's favorite dishes with which to eat Japanese cuisine . Good Blessings and Much Luck to Noraya!
