Okonomiyaki and Teppanyaki 'Nishiki Warai' born in Nishiki, Kyoto. We offer a wide variety of dishes including our specialty Warai-yaki, Kyo-ten-yaki, yakisoba, and teppanyaki. The flour-based food culture cherished in Kansai is one of the communication tools for families, couples, and friends to gather around the same teppan grill. Loved by local customers, our motto is to create a 'Warami-Warai' space filled with endless 'laughter' and 'harmony' that can be enjoyed across generations. 140 seats / Large banquets up to 50 people OK. Right from Nankai Bus 'Nakachaya' stop, 8 minutes from Nankai Koya Line 'Kitanoda' station. If coming by car, we have a dedicated parking lot.

Your typical okonomiyaki restaurant, but with tons of variations and alternatives. I recommend the kyotenyaki. It's not as heavy as their okonomiyaki.
View on GoogleThe Mentaiko Cheese Mochi Monja was very delicious. The shop's signature Warai-yaki is interesting, unlike okonomiyaki, it's in a fluffy om-soba style. It felt family-friendly with lots of families around. I heard they have something called a kids' passport. Except for monja, okonomiyaki is made using the shop's method and served ready-made. The sour cocktail was in a tall glass, but it was mostly ice so I drank it in an instant.
View on GoogleWarai's pork ball was delicious. Mega-mug raw fruit sour, frozen sliced sudachi... Do you call it raw fruit even after freezing it once? The amount was smaller than expected, which was a disappointment. Even the toast beer was smaller than expected (lol)
View on GoogleIt was normally delicious! A bit expensive maybe? That depends on individual values. Omelet cheese was terrible! Is there really cheese in it? It was flat, slightly burnt, and just an egg omelet. Other than that, it was delicious, and the staff were friendly and cute.
View on GoogleThere are also menus other than okonomiyaki. Okonomiyaki was delicious. The pork ball was a solid okonomiyaki, and the warai-yaki was a gooey, fluffy okonomiyaki without cabbage. Both were delicious. ↑3 years ago 2023 2026↓ Visited after a long time. Always use other branches, but long time no see at Sakai Fukuda branch. Since it was Friday night, I waited to be seated. The table I was guided to was sticky, teppan had stains, changed seats, this one was also sticky, got a rag and wiped it myself. Well, when things pile up, they pile up. Ordered pork modern rice set, wanted to eat white rice with okonomiyaki as a side dish. Okonomiyaki arrived 15 minutes after ordering, rice didn't arrive. 5 minutes later, 'Not yet?' 'Please wait a moment.' 16 minutes later rice arrived. Waited 31 minutes from order for everything to be ready. Now, let's eat—however, the rice was hard as a rock. As expected, too many things piled up so I complained. My wife who was with me had already finished eating her monja-yaki. Somehow I felt pathetic just waiting. The result of waiting was terrible. Things really do pile up. 3 years ago it was 5 stars, but unfortunately I've changed it to 3 stars. Since you charge money and provide food and drink as professionals, I hope you'll work hard on solid store hygiene management and proper food provision. Please serve decent white rice next time.
