A massive subterranean-to-surface interface. It is the terminus of the Midosuji subway line, making it a critical, crowded funnel for commuters. 🚇 The station is purely functional, a place of rapid walking and synchronized rushing. Tourist Tip: Subway Terminus: If you want a seat on the subway to Umeda/Shin-Osaka, board here (it's the first stop). 💺
View on GoogleThe Nankai Koya Line trains bound for Koyasan (Mount Koya) generally depart from Platform 1 at Nakamozu Station (Nankai Koya Line). However, if you plan to use a Limited Express train, you will need to reconfirm the platform at the transfer stations (e.g., Kongo Station or Hashimoto Station). Please carefully check the platform information signs when boarding. Limited Express "Koya": This limited express runs directly between Namba Station and Gokurakubashi Station. All seats require a reservation (are designated seats). Limited Express "Rinkan": This limited express primarily runs between Namba Station and Hashimoto Station. All seats require a reservation (are designated seats). For both Limited Express trains, you will need a Limited Express Ticket in addition to the Base Fare Ticket (for the journey from Nakamozu to Gokurakubashi).

View on GoogleThis is a transfer station for the Nankai Koya Line, Semboku Line (formerly Semboku Rapid Railway), and Osaka Metro Midosuji Line. There are south and north exits, and both have elevators so barrier-free measures are well-implemented. The entrance to the Midosuji Line is at the north exit, so those using the Midosuji Line should head toward the north exit. You go outside once, but since it's a covered passageway, you won't get wet in the rain. The south exit side features a relatively traditional cityscape, while the north exit side features a newly developed cityscape. There are several paid parking lots in the vicinity, so even those coming from a bit further away by car can use the Midosuji Line or Nankai Line. Since roads commonly known as the Tokohama Line and National Route 310 run near the station, I don't think you'll have any trouble with shopping or dining.
View on GoogleCommercial facilities are well-stocked and the platforms are clean, which is faultless, but the pity is that trains only run once every 15 minutes, plus rapid trains don't stop. It's easy to confuse Nakamozu and Mozu (or so I thought because I made a mistake myself). Where is Daisen Kofun!
