Somewhat large kofun compared to the satellites of Daysenryo Kofun. It also has a lake with several turtles and fish.

View on GoogleA kofun that seems to have more water on the west side. This time, due to time constraints, I only saw the south and east sides; the south side was neatly maintained, while the east side (especially the northeast) was full of water plants and looked like a grassy field.
View on GoogleIt was windy today but the weather was nice, so I took about an hour's walk around the World Heritage Emperor Nintoku's Tomb and the Nagayama Kofun. "Nagayama Kofun" is a keyhole-shaped tomb about 100 m long, built around the 5th century. It's one of the larger kofun built around Emperor Nintoku's Tomb.
