A well-known restaurant specialising in udon and soba soups. The bento box appetiser was phenominal. The mushroom broth was unreal. Well balanced and packed with umami. The seafood custard was simple and full of flavour. The udon soup itself was great. It had a tasty broth, noodles were well made and not overcooked, and came with a few pieces of kamaboko. I initially ordered the soba, but accidentally swapped order with a friend. Not a bad mistake. The meal was finished with a simple dessert of half an orange with jelly. I liked the rabbit decor and there's a little market area where you can buy soup stock and noodles to take home with you. Definitely recommend!

A must visit!! This is one of the best restaurants I have visited in Sakai! The food quality is exceptional and super delicious (bonus points for being healthy too). The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Famous old-established udon shop! The atmosphere is good, the staff's service is wonderful, and the udon looks very delicious! However, it felt a bit disappointing; the udon broth was quite strong in flavor, making me thirsty, and the ingredients in the nabeyaki udon were also not great—the smell of the chicken or eel? (conger eel?) bothered me a little, so I couldn't eat it. (I am a bit sensitive to smells). The shrimp tempura was also not crispy. I won't go there again! People around were eating something like an all-you-can-eat option, were they aiming for a good deal???

We couldn't get a reservation, but we were able to get in around 13:00 on a Saturday with a wait time of about 30 minutes. If you are going by car, watch out for the ikezu stones at the entrance and exit!
