I am in Mikunigaoka. Thinking I might eat some udon before heading home. I entered the shop with that thought. Since I was alone, I was told "Please go to the counter seat in the back" and I walked inward. Then, while looking at the menu, the shop staff asked, "What would you like to drink?" I was intending to eat udon..... By reflex, I blurted out, "A bottled beer." (lol) While drinking bottled beer, I think about side dishes. Because it's cold. Shall I eat oden. I ordered egg, grilled tofu, and suji. Dashi works and the taste is spot on. Beer went down gulp after gulp. After that, shall I eat kushikatsu. Choosing shiitake mushroom, red sausage, beef, and onion. Dipped in sauce and chomped, gulping beer~. It was a blissful time. Customers were visiting one after another before leaving. Despite passing in front of the shop, I rarely had the chance to enter and finally managed to do so. The interior has a deep structure, I sat at a table near the middle and ordered plain lemon chuhai. Looking at the udon menu, I ordered fava beans and the staff told me to wait a little as they will grill them now, so I ordered herring roe miso and ume kombu udon. Herring roe, udon, and fava beans were brought in that order, so while nibbling the side dishes, I tasted the ume kombu udon... This is delicious. The drunk mouth is refreshed by the plum. Udon keeps going, and when the fava beans arrived, I was already full (lol). Next time I come, maybe I'll come a bit earlier and choose izakaya menu and curry udon.

Tried eating oden, kushikatsu, soba, etc. Each has a home-style taste and was very delicious. Apparently originally operated inside Mikunigaoka Station. Moved to the current location along with station redevelopment. Having operated for many years, the menu is also rich. Popular with many customers. A good shop also suitable for a quick drink.

A delicious shop that has continued for 45 years. Ate for the first time in 30 years, and I was glad the taste hadn't changed. Comforting set meals and udon. Lunch set is 650 yen with udon or soba included and is popular. Today's daily special was tonkatsu. Will go again.
