A kissaten run single-handedly by a friendly mama. Having operated for nearly 50 years, it was bustling with regulars. The interior is simple yet stylish with an aged atmosphere, apparently custom-built to the mama's exacting standards. The breakfast set costs 350 yen, including a drink, bread, and boiled egg. Cheap...!! A cat named "Mi-chan" hangs around, and if you're lucky you can spot it inside.

So cheap I thought it was some kind of mistake. Standing in front of the entrance, it feels just like something built in the Showa era, but when you step inside, oh surprise. The walls have been repainted pure white, clean. A quiet moment with the mama and kitty

The café "Coffee Shop Julian" located near the Nisanzai Tumulus. A shop with an appearance that feels intensely aged, making it rather hard to enter (laughs) There is a payphone in front of the shop entrance, and this one is in amazingly good, clean, and interesting condition (laughs) Step inside and the mama cheerfully welcomes you. Had the breakfast set, which is the classic setup of toast, boiled egg, and a drink for 350 yen! So cheap! Looking at the menu, curry and set meal items are in the 500 yen range. It's amazing that they are operating in this day and age at this price range. I definitely want to come back for lunch next time!
