This cafe is just right beside the Takasujinja Tramway Station, from the outside it looked like it was closed but actually if the door was written 営業中 it opens.. I entered the cafe and was welcomed by grandmother voice irasshaimase, the atmosphere is so antique and old in a positive way, also it was cool inside . I ordered tamago sando egg sandwich and hot coffee, it was very big portion and I was wondering how much eggs she did cooked for it, the coffee was also nice plus creamer and sugar on your favour, she also gave warm towel and free fresh water which is very good in this humid and hot summer.. The portion to price ration is pretty fair in my opinion (even cheap!) The grandma is very nice, you can practice your japanese with her too ahahahaha, I immersed some kansai vocabularies from her.. I also asked since when she open this cafe, she said it was around 50 years ago, since Showa period! and the station beside this cafe is far older around 100 years old She also asked me how do I know this cafe, I said it's from the maps and she amazed.. I hope I can share the joy of this cafe through this review.. I want to taste the teishoku as well!

Could not get in on the first try because it was full! Today is my second visit. This time I got in right away. Ordered the long-awaited egg sandwich!! This photo shows the volume for a single portion!! Morning set (toast + drink) x 2 and egg sandwich 🥚 for 1,210 yen!! What kind of calculation is this already?! The egg in the egg sandwich is so fluffy!! What is this?! I just kept munching away. The drink is also a huge capacity! On a level reminiscent of that amount at Komeda Coffee. The taste was also clean and refreshing! Toast is crispy and delicious 😋 I love it ❤️ And above all, the mamasan's briskness! Smile 😆 and her kind words of "come again"!! Everywhere shows that this is a beloved restaurant!! I hope to visit again in the near future.

I went looking around thinking, "Is there anywhere nearby where I can eat breakfast starting in the morning～?" I went to Cafe Rack for the first time～ It's in a prime location right in front of the station. I checked on Google and found out there is a place nearby where you can eat something delicious from the morning! It opens from 7:00 AM, so I headed to the front of the shop just past 7:00～ Is there an open sign on the door? Oh, it was there, and I entered thinking the shop was open. The exterior is a bit worn down, but once you go inside, it's well-maintained, clean, and cozy. A friendly older sister runs the place by herself, and she welcomes you with a warm Oshibori (hot towel) and ice-cold water. I ordered an egg sandwich and one hot coffee. The sound of the coffee dripping—pop pop pop pop—and the sound of eggs frying—sizzling—can be heard from beyond the radio voice. Aah～ It's relaxing and peaceful～ Time passes slowly for adults in a somewhat nostalgic space. Occasionally, the sound of the tram tracks and the railroad crossing makes you feel at ease again. After a while, it was brought over～ (Service was fast because other customers were already eating, and I was the only one waiting for food) Whoa, the sandwiches are a huge volume, and the coffee smells nice too. Before eating the sandwich, I tried a sip of the coffee. Delicious～ I like coffee without too much acidity. Delicious! Now for the egg sandwich! Take a bite～ It's fluffy! Both the bread and the egg have a wonderful fluffy texture! Take another bite—is it butter? You can eat delicious Kansai-style egg sandwiches. A tasteful, old-fashioned coffee shop, including the exterior. The sign is old and the letters have faded, to the level that if you didn't know, you wouldn't even notice it's operating. The interior is also small and smoking is allowed. The egg sandwich is super voluminous! To the level where you think, "So much for this price!?" It feels like 2 to 3 servings. Lots of cafe au lait too! A super simple menu featuring fluffy eggs with a hint of dashi, topped with cucumber and mayonnaise. The white bread is also said to be regular white bread. Even so, it's insanely delicious! I probably couldn't make this egg sandwich myself. I was full from the morning and extremely satisfied.
