The reason for the low rating? Handing a waiting-list number to a customer, only to hand items to customers arriving later. Paying money to buy ponzu-flavored items, and while I'd understand if it were a product with a different flavor, they hand over a seasoning that isn't even listed on the menu items. When a customer asks a polite question, the staff member responds with a sulky attitude.

I'm not sure why the rating is low, but when it comes to the takoyaki, I thought the quality was quite high. The octopus inside wasn't small at all, and the inside was gooey and delicious. Getting 15 pieces for 650 yen feels like great value for money. Regarding hygiene, since it feels kind of like a food stall, I think it's just to be expected. I don't expect all that much. Affordable and tasty! I thought that was good enough.

Shocking! A sparrow was tasting the okonomiyaki right on the iron griddle. On top of that, the staff member's sleeve cuffs were fully dragging in it. Looks like it's got all kinds of extra broths mixed in. Pretty scary from a hygiene standpoint...

I haven't eaten here yet, so maybe I have no right to write this, but while searching for takoyaki shops, I saw photos posted for this place and was struck by a sense of discomfort, so I wanted to leave a comment. I don't know what it tastes like since I haven't eaten it yet. However, looking at the photos during cooking, I can see that the sleeves could potentially touch the food, so I felt it was unhygienic. They probably aren't the only staff member, but if you're handling food, you should pay attention to your attire as well. It's not just a matter of whether it's washed or not, but since making takoyaki involves a flipping process, didn't they think that their sleeves might touch the uncooked takoyaki? And as of today, I haven't eaten here yet, but I'd like to try it once in the near future (unless something extreme happens, I don't plan on choosing not to buy). I imagine staying in business is tough, so if that's the case, risks that can definitely be reduced should be reduced. Postscript: I finally had the chance to buy some and tried it. Taste-wise, it felt neither good nor bad. I'm not looking for anything specific so it's hard to say, but whether I'll be a repeat customer is questionable... However, the fact that it's still running in Osaka or the Kansai region means the flavor must be good enough to have repeaters, and even in this bad economy it hasn't gone under, so corporate efforts must be tough... It just wasn't really my thing personally. I'd be glad if this long text serves as a reference for anyone who read it.

I've been a regular customer for a long time, but today when they stacked the containers for the takoyaki on top of the tupperware containing green onions and tempura scraps, a bunch of tiny cockroaches came scurrying out. The staff member didn't notice, so when I pointed it out, they actually tapped that very container against the onion container to shake them off. Seeing that, I said, "Don't put onions and tempura scraps in there," and from that moment until I received my order, they were unfriendly and completely silent the whole time. I deeply regret buying anything from a place like this.
