food was excellent. service good. but be prepared to smell of smoky beef in your hair, clothes even your cell phone will get greasy😁. they do provide zipped up bags for your jacket n bags which is super thoughtful. prices are not cheap but not overly expensive either.

Yakiniku Katsuragi" in front of Sakai Station is an old-school counter-only yakiniku restaurant that has been running for 57 years. Although it is a high-achieving restaurant selected as a Tabelog Yakiniku WEST Hyaku Meiten for 4 consecutive years, the downtown-feeling interior is somehow nostalgic and can be enjoyed without hesitation. The taste is consistently delicious whenever you come. The secret sauce passed down from generation to generation is so delicious that even just the sauce makes rice go down. The famous Chateaubriand has flambe performance right in front of you as one of the highlights. It is sure to look great on photos, so it is a dish that first-time visitors should definitely order. Superb access, just a 1-minute walk from JR Sakai Station. Open all year round and open only at night, it's a popular restaurant with only 10 counter seats, so it is recommended to visit after making a reservation. Please note that payment is cash only.

A friend managed to get a reservation so I tagged along 🥩 An aged exterior, truly a long-established yakiniku. A good aroma already from the surroundings. The inside of the shop is full of smoke anyway It is recommended to go with clothes that you don't mind getting smelly! The distance behind and beside the counter is quite narrow. The menu [Chateaubriand Expensive] is really funny. But I ordered it because I was curious. First-time visitors seem to order it often. The huge chunk of meat that came out!! Of course it's expensive. Lol Here, the staff grills it and cuts it rare. This is delicious. Tongue prices differ for saki, naka, and moto, Moto is the most expensive, but it's soft and delicious so Naka or moto is recommended. Also the harami was delicious ◎ Chateaubriand is big so you might be pretty full with that. From the second time, trying other menus is recommended ◎
