Had it cold. I thought the large portion was small, but unexpectedly there was extra soba noodles and I got full. Since there were no other customers at the time, I had it as a chartered state and relaxed forgetting the time. I think it's the first time I've eaten proper soba. The country soba eaten with salt was somewhat thick, chewy, and very delicious. The shichimi is also elegantly spicy and delicious. Thank you for the meal
View on GoogleVisited with my son, just the two of us. Ordered hiya-atsu (mori soba and warm kake soba) and tempura. It would have been nice if there was a set of country soba and warm kake soba instead of mori soba... The other was hiya-hiya, I think it was a cold set of both mori soba and country soba. A traditional folk house has been renovated and the atmosphere is very good. Once inside, the ceilings are high and it's built on high ground so a very pleasant breeze was blowing in. There are few seats, it's relaxed, and the distance between seats is very good. Tempura includes kakiage and seasonal vegetables, the kakiage is made of burdock root and shrimp, very crispy, and even though it's kakiage, it's not greasy at all and really delicious. Today was pumpkin, bell pepper, lotus root, eggplant, asparagus.
View on GoogleI was curious seeing the word "soba" from a slightly distant road. Another day I visited by driving down a different road. It's a renovated traditional folk house with a good atmosphere, and opening the front door made me feel nostalgic. The inside is also open and has a very relaxing atmosphere, with tatami and table seating, the tables are large so you can sit comfortably, and it felt somewhat semi-private, so we were seated at a table. The soba is also slightly thick and filling, and although there are no set menus with rice, I was ridiculously full. Even though we didn't order zaru soba or mori soba, after the meal they brought out a soba choko filled with broth and sobayu, since I had cold soba, it warmed my body up and it was a great service. Since it was an early lunch on a weekday, there was only one other group of customers, so I could eat very leisurely and calmly and was very satisfied. They also run a bakery in Otori so I'd like to visit that as well. Thank you for the meal ( ❁ᵕᴗᵕ )
View on GoogleWhat I ordered was large portion of bukkake soba First time eating soba in Osaka Elegant broth is delicious The shop is also quiet and comfortable
View on GoogleThe taste is not bad, but the shop's customer service was the worst. Is this due to the arrogance of a prosperous shop? After waiting nearly 1 hour for food, only one serving of mori soba was left and sold out! It makes you dumbfounded.
