I had the image that Hokaben's (bento shop) fried chicken is plump and delicious, so I bought it because I wanted to eat fried chicken! It was rock hard and burnt to a crisp 😭 I was hungry so I'm shocked... There were zero customers and the staff were sitting in the kitchen touching their cell phones. I understand why this bento is finished in 1 minute...
View on GoogleTakana and Chicken Tartar Sauce Bowl. ¥560 Pretty delicious. The shop is small and there is no parking lot. On top of the counter, lots of bento boxes. It seems to be reservations from people in the neighborhood. Were there about 50 of them? Bento delivery was also possible.
View on GoogleWhen I used it for the first time, I ordered the fried chicken bento and it came out immediately, but it was burnt and hard... Thinking of it as a revenge match, next time I ordered the torimeshi (chicken rice), but it was exactly the same, had a burnt taste, and was unpleasant.
View on GoogleI ordered seafood tendon and sukiyaki bento via Uber Eats. Uber arrived quickly, which I appreciated. As for the taste: My elderly father was delighted with the sukiyaki bento, saying, "It's delicious!" It came with a raw egg, and the photo shows me cracking and dropping it in. Since there was a liner in the space where the egg was included, I assume you are supposed to crack it directly into there and dip the udon or meat into it. I think it's great that they thoughtfully included a liner so that the eggshell doesn't touch the space directly. The tendon also had a good volume and a nice taste with sweet soy sauce. I think the elderly in the neighborhood would also be pleased with it. I have never ordered at the physical store, so I don't know about the atmosphere, etc.
View on GoogleConvenient since there are kids' bento boxes. I don't think there was a car parking lot.
