Overall, this was a very enjoyable lunch. The seafood-don had a shiso theme and was excellent. The maguro-don was simple and good with tamago gakke. Kara-age was great with noticeable ginger flavor. The downside is that smoking is still allowed. Someone started smoking before we finished, so we left in haste.

I'm crazy about kushikatsu, and whenever I find a shop that catches my interest, I just can't help going in (lol). This one is near my workplace, and this is my second time visiting. First, I ordered the chef's choice kushikatsu omakase set recommended by the owner, and chikuwa cheese, which is a personal favorite of mine. Of course, a highball goes along with it. A highball washed down while chomping on freshly fried kushikatsu is simply the best. In the omakase set, there was tiger prawn, tomato cheese, and one more item, but I got drunk and forgot the name (lol). However, I remember well that they were all delicious. The charm of omakase is discovering something new, as skewers come out that I wouldn't normally order myself. After that, I additionally ordered corn, cheese nori, and lotus root. Everything was fried to perfection, and I ended up eating a bit too much. To finish off refreshingly, nori chazuke. It turned out to be a very satisfying dinner. This is a very delicious kushikatsu restaurant! There are so many varieties that I get lost on what to eat. There are also lots of unusual items including fruits, and I ended up eating too much. They had a wide selection of Japanese sake, too. The staff made a very good impression and I would love to come back.

I had the Shuntei recommended 8-skewer course with draft beer. Every skewer was delicious, but personally, the Nobunaga green onion skewer was so good that it made me want to order seconds. The owner's attentiveness was very comforting.
