I had visited the Nakamozu branch before, but personally, I found this Otori branch's taste more delicious and it became my favorite! 😋👍 The quality of the food itself was very high and I was very satisfied, but the only thing that bothered me a little was the plating. When it was brought out, it was shifted to one side of the plate, so I felt that if they could make even the plating neat, it would be even more wonderful. Since it's such delicious food, if it can be enjoyed visually from the moment it's brought out, I think it will gain even more fans. Thank you for the meal ☺️
View on GoogleVisited with my daughter, it was super delicious, has plenty of volume, I want to eat the omurice too, Next time with the hubby,
View on Google[May 28, 2026] A curry/western food shop representing Sakai, located about a 5-minute walk from JR Otori Station. Moved from Mikunigaoka and opened in Otori on November 14, 2025. Dropped by on a weekday lunchtime, but this is my first time visiting the Grill Tommy group. The interior has 8 counter seats and two 4-person tables. The counter spacing is a bit narrow. Ordered the Omurice Western Special Set for 1800 yen. Contents: Omurice, Cream Croquette, Fried Shrimp, Tenderloin Cutlet, Miso Soup. The omurice is the standard ketchup omurice. All the fried items follow the basic, standard style. What left an impression was that the tenderloin cutlet meat was tender. Since it opens early at 11:00, it's very appreciated for early lunchers. As a famous Sakai group, seats were filled from a pretty early time slot.
View on GoogleThe set where you can choose two main dishes was amazingly wonderful. Since I can't miss the signature cream croquette, next time I'll make it a set with tonteki. Omurice is also hard to pass up, so a return visit is a must.
View on GoogleVisited Grill Tommy Sakai Otori branch, rumored to be delicious in Sakai City. There is a multi-car parking lot in front of the store, and I timed it well to park smoothly. Around 7:30 PM on Saturday, when I asked, "Can one person fit?", the interior is a compact structure with 8 counter seats + two 4-person tables, and it was almost full. You can tell its high popularity. A few minutes later, I was guided to a counter seat where the cleaning had just finished. Ordered the "Omurice Western Special Set." The rumored cream croquette cannot be missed. Many other customers also added fried toppings to their omurice, and the high degree of freedom is also an appeal. Presented shortly after, the plate was truly an "adult's children's lunch." Visually, it easily exceeds expectations. First, the omurice. Fluffy, runny egg intertwines exquisitely with ketchup rice, a simple yet highly accomplished dish. All the fried items are crispy. Especially the cream croquette is melty and rich inside, so tender that it's hard to lift with a fork, finishing at a level where you instinctively switch to a spoon. Vegetables are also solidly included, making it a well-balanced, highly satisfying set. Furthermore, the accompanying miso soup has a gentle taste, adding a comforting Japanese element into the western food, elevating the overall completion. The staff's service also left a very good impression. Young male and female staff handled things briskly and with a smile, and the loud "Thank you very much" at the end was pleasant, allowing me to finish the meal feeling good. Payment accepts PayPay. Next time, I'd definitely like to try other menus like tonteki and fried chicken.
