I went camping on a weekday! The staff were very nice and I felt at ease❣️ At the cafe, it was very good to be able to touch and try DOD products in person¨̮♡︎ The soft serve ice cream (vanilla) was very delicious‼︎ The price is a little expensive overall. Now, as for the camping itself,,, From the result, it's good for day camping, but I don't think I'll stay overnight, that's my honest impression. It really feels like setting up a tent in a normal park and being able to have a bonfire, so people walking in the park, people coming for morning radio calisthenics, people coming to do Tai Chi, etc. will look at you suspiciously. The road is nearby and there is quite a lot of traffic all night, so the sound is bothersome. (My companion said they couldn't sleep. I slept soundly w). Early in the morning, there was a lot of crowing, to the point where I couldn't sleep. You should definitely not leave any leftover food or trash. Street lights are brightly lit all night. If you are staying overnight, you need to be careful about how you set up your tent, otherwise it will be too bright to sleep. The number of parking spaces is very limited, and it seems there are people who park their cars to go to work, so around 10 am on weekdays it was full and there was a line outside. I am grateful that the access is good because the site is right from the parking lot, but it is in a state where anyone can enter at any time. I felt that caution is necessary if staying overnight. The washing area is water only. There are 4 faucets. Remaining charcoal and firewood can be discarded if it is confirmed that the fire is out. The toilet is flush and relatively clean. The toilet and washing area can also be reached in about 10 seconds from where the tent is set up, so it is easy. I didn't use the shower so I don't know┐︎(´_ゝ`)┌︎ I thought it was very good to be able to camp with pets! It seems there is a market-like thing too, so I think it's good to go day camping while trying out DOD products(✿︎´ ꒳ ` )♡︎
View on Google【※This is an impression as a camper】 I think it's very good for cafe use or day camping! The employees are also kind and polite, stylish and clean, and the food is reasonable! I think it would be great if it were in the local area✨ ↓Below is from a camper's perspective↓ 【Location】 Unlike the image seen in photos on a certain portal site, it is really a park in the middle of town. 15 minutes walk to the station. It is a corner inside the park, but there are no fences, partitions, or signs, so it felt as if we were using it illegally, so I actually felt bad😂 lol 【Scenery】 From the site you can see apartments. Also road and Times signs. It is a bedroom town with a lot of greenery rather than nature. Street lights are bright and the feeling of camping in the park is very strong😅 I'm happy there is a convenience store if you walk 15 minutes! lol 【Sound】 Because it is along the road, of course there is the sound of cars. The "cuckoo" sound from the pedestrian crossing, and the siren entering and exiting the parking lot? are also heard. Because local ordinary people also walk or use the park, in terms of sound environment, it is no different from my neighborhood (residential area) lol 【Facilities】 4 large sinks, ash disposal area, toilet, vending machine, cafe (food and drink), firewood sales, various rentals. As expected of a park. 【Security】 In the middle of the night, a group of young people who clearly didn't pay the fee rode in on motorbikes, spread a blue tarp next to us, played music, BBQed outside of hours, and set off fireworks... They scattered trash and went home. Because it is a "park" where the property is not separated, I couldn't warn them. Because the office is unmanned at 18:00, I just had to cry🥲 Because there are no fences, partitions, or "paid area" signs, ordinary people walk in and out of the site normally. I was afraid of theft of expensive gear, and I think especially women and those with children will feel insecure. Environmentally, it is really camping in the park. 【Radio Calisthenics】 Local grandpas and grandmas, a dozen people gathered and played radio calisthenics at full volume starting at 6:30 am🤣 lol At the reception, the staff told me awkwardly,, but the loud noise came from closer to the tent than I thought, so I was very surprised!! Because it is a large park, there are other places to do it. I suspect maybe they are not getting understanding from some local residents because they deliberately do it near the site (maybe a silent protest movement). Of course because it is a park, I cannot complain. Sakai City, which manages it, has put out a "no loud noise" sign as a formality, but it has no effect... This is the difficult part of designated management! 【Impressions】 I think I will never camp again (due to fear and suspicion). As a major premise, since we paid the usage fee, I wanted them to divide it as a paid area and prohibit entry other than site users. (Because it is a designated management area, I think it is impossible. That is why I have decided not to use it.) The staff were really good people, so I added 1 star✨ I hope they do their best with day camping business, DOD sales, and cafe use! I think there are constraints of designated management, but I pray that the government and private sector can discuss positively and create an environment where users and local residents can spend time better🙏
View on GoogleI went day camping on a weekday, but before 11 o'clock the parking lot on the park side was full. Because it is spring break, many people came with children. I had no choice but to park in the parking lot on the other side of the one-way road. However, a few minutes after parking, one car left, so I hurriedly re-parked. The parking lot on the park side is free for up to 15 minutes, but the parking lot on the other side cost 200 yen even if I left immediately. I wish they would set a free time. Those who will use it in the future need to be careful. Well, I registered at the campsite and they explained the site politely. There is tape wrapped around the trees, and they said it doesn't matter where as long as it's within that range. The site is said to be 6m×10m, but there is no indication etc., and they said please use it by yielding to each other. No electricity. There is a hand washing area. There are 10 sites, and that is the number including day camping and staying overnight. The south side has a slight slope. The toilet is on the south side of the campsite, but the light is a bit dim. There is a clean toilet inside the building. Because it is in contact with the road, the sound of cars is a bit bothersome. I think it is better to have the entrance on the park side than on the road side. There is a charcoal disposal area, but water is stagnant. I hesitated whether it was okay to throw away charcoal. Overall, day camping is okay, but I'm a bit hesitant about staying overnight. Although it's close from the parking lot, I have quite a bit of camping equipment, so I reaffirmed that an auto campsite where you can park on the side is valuable. It's better to have a carry cart!
View on GoogleIt was camping in the rain and we rented it out, but no problem. The staff and the manager were also wonderful people. You can eat inside the store. The menu is rich and delicious. Firewood seems to be still in preparation, so it needs to be confirmed. Shower is free!
View on GoogleCame to the store to use the cafe and see DOD products Because there are more products on display than Alpen Outdoors, etc., I was satisfied to be able to see products I had never seen before The staff's response was also very kind, and it seems they will order items that are not on display so that we can see the samples. It was also good to be able to enjoy the camping feeling using the tables and chairs on display while eating
