This is a surviving cafeteria of the long-standing brand "Chikaramochi Shokudo". An elderly couple and perhaps their daughter? It's a so-called sanchang diner. I asked to substitute the base of the meat curry with yellow noodles, which is called meat curry ramen base. In addition, I got chirashi sushi and kayaku rice balls from the showcase. Even as an elderly person, I was able to finish it easily, it was delicious. Before I knew it, both the customers before and after me were eating meat curry udon. The selling point of Chikaramochi Shokudo Yasui-cho branch is the meat curry udon. Even after I left the shop, elderly customers trickled in one after another. It is quite a middle-aged men's paradise.

A while ago, there were many Chikaramochi Shokudos. There was one near my home and workplace, And I used to buy souvenirs on my way home after eating. This shop is also overflowing with nostalgia. Red rice and bara sushi lined up, Various ohagi. I saw the Chikaramochi sign for the first time in a while. I'm so glad. This time I had the chuka soba for 650 yen and small red rice for 180 yen. The nostalgic chuka soba topped with kamaboko, chashu, menma, and bean sprouts goes very well with the red rice. Since it was Ohigan, I bought two ohagi for 140 yen As a souvenir. Not too sweet and light to eat. Next time maybe I'll buy aonori and black sesame. Price went up a bit to 780 yen for chuka soba. But I'll keep coming because it's delicious. Curry udon is also recommended.
