We had a lovely, delicious dinner at Chakura. It was the absolute dream experience to have such wonderful food in such a beautiful setting. The couple who owns the restaurant was beyond nice and friendly, the service was one of the many highlights. We could see their passion for their restaurant and for the food in every detail. We choose the Chakura course menu and it was a feast. If the food had been any less delicious, we would not have been able to eat it all. But it was delicious, full of carefully prepared vegetables and creative cooking. I never knew that radish leaves could create such an amazing sauce. Or that cauliflower could become a puree like that. Excellent in every way, including the beautiful dining room and atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

This place is really something special. Advance reservations required, and they will curated the meal to your dietary restrictions. The couple that runs this are just wonderful people and you can feel their care and love in their food. Of course it's delicious, but more importantly this is a curated experience where you can be immersed in genuine and gracious hospitality. I feel blessed to have found this place and if you're still reading at this point in my review I'm sure you'll be blessed too.

Just incredible. The place is so cozy and pretty, but the food is even beyond expectations. Everything is homemade, drinks, wines (fruit wine), and homemade miso!! The couple were so kind with us, very caring. My husband is gluten free and they made the menu just for us. I wish i had a restaurant like this in my country so i could learn more about them and their cuisine! Thank you!!

This charming restaurant, owned by a passionate husband-and-wife chef duo, offers the most exquisite vegetarian dining experience I've ever had. Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or simply looking for a culinary adventure, this is a must-try. Specializing in creative vegan Japanese cuisine, they meticulously craft dishes in the spirit of traditional Japanese and Shojin culinary arts, with a modern twist inspired by international flavors. They cater to vegans, with the option to accommodate oriental vegetarian preferences upon request. The inscription on their menu perfectly captures their philosophy: "We breathe life into each vegetable, listening to its unique voice." Each dish is a testament to this philosophy. The chefs' respect for tradition shines through, but their innovative techniques and flavor combinations push boundaries with a touch of global flair. The meticulous attention to detail is artistry on a plate. The entire course is meticulously planned, taking you on a delightful journey of textures, flavors, and culinary techniques. The presentation is equally impressive, with each dish beautifully arranged on elegant plates. The ambiance of the restaurant, housed in a beautifully renovated, historic family home of nearly 90 years, perfectly complements the culinary experience. The attentive couple doesn't just serve amazing food; they enhance the experience. They provide detailed explanations of each dish, revealing their dedication to coaxing out the best flavors from each vegetable. Their friendly conversation makes the entire experience even more enjoyable. Their passion and culinary philosophy are truly inspiring. The commitment to quality ingredients, pristine water, and meticulous cooking techniques is evident in every bite. Their unwavering passion and heartfelt hospitality were palpable throughout the dining experience. Their culinary creations and warm service left me deeply touched and grateful for the opportunity to have experienced their artistry. I can't wait to return and explore more of their vegetable-centric masterpieces!

Reserved two sets of 野菜三味 to celebrate my friend's birthday. Did not disappoint. The owners are very friendly. It's an adventure tasting the food. The chef takes his craft rather seriously, it's obvious. Tasty and filling. The lady exuded Osaka hospitality and tried her very best to converse with me in English. They try to keep everything fresh, organic and locally sourced. Thank you. There's limited free parking so contact before arriving. Everything is served on the basis of advanced reservation. They serve everything vegan except the mozzarella cheese on pizza.
