Had chanpon and omurice. Both were full of volume and very delicious! Especially the chanpon was packed with ingredients and satisfying, making me full. The interior is a bit compact, but cozy, and a restaurant I want to go eat at again. Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleShoyu ramen yen + fried rice set 1,100 yen. A shop in Nakamozu I've been curious about for a while, visited before noon and happened to be empty. Counter and 2 table seats. A lively town Chinese restaurant. The good old nostalgic shoyu soup with chashu, bean sprouts, and green onions was delicious 😋 The soup was a rich yet light shoyu taste. The balance of thin noodles, chashu, bean sprouts, and green onions was exquisitely good. The fried rice was moist and packed with meat, delicious. Reminds me of my mother's cooking eaten on Saturday lunch when I was in elementary school 😭 Friendly proprietress and staff. Payment is cash. Parking has a coin parking lot on the opposite side of the road. Next time I'll try the omurice. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleThis time I visited to eat the [Curry Ramen] 🤗 A thick, starchy-style curry ramen finished super thick 🍜 Too hot so burns are unavoidable 🇨 Pork and vegetables stir-fried in a Chinese wok combined with a soup that's probably chicken bone broth ☝️ Made with a cooking method like chanpon. Spiciness, slight acidity, and vegetable sweetness stood out, delicious 💕 Closer to 'eating' than 'drinking' the soup. Super thick 🇨 By the end of the meal, the starch softens into a drinkable curry soup! Various umami flavors seeping out 🎶 The noodles are thin Chinese noodles, right 💁🏻♂️ Anyway, can't lift them (lol) 💦 The starch clings so tightly chopsticks feel like they'll break 🇨 Super piping-hot, both soup and noodles hold strong heat so even when lifting and blowing, the outside cools while the inside stays hot 💧 Slurping causes mouth burns 😆 This is good 🤭 Since various vegetables are included, texture changes every time. Matching with soft noodles gave a pleasant tempo to textures ~ 🎶 Ingredients are rich in variety and packed 💕 Since it's mixed in, the overall taste doesn't change till the end, but it doesn't get boring and delicious till the end 😊
View on GoogleSecond time, the chanpon noodles were insanely delicious and full of volume 😍 First time I had tenshinmen and 2 beers 🍻 😋 Fried rice and omurice seemed recommended, but judging I couldn't eat it due to volume, I got tenshinmen this time, but next time I want yakimeshi or gyoza 😋 There's always a queue so I couldn't go easily 🇵 30 seconds walk from home, but visited on holidays 10+ times and unfortunately closed 😱 Friendliness is super great 🤩
View on GoogleI was planning to go to a Western-style restaurant, but noticed this Chinese restaurant called Tonmen while waiting in line. Going inside, the interior felt like an old-school town Chinese restaurant and pretty nice. I went with a friend and ordered omurice, tonkatsu set meal, and gyoza. First, the nostalgic feel of the omurice is irresistible. And it's delicious but the volume is insanely large. I was surprised by the huge volume of tonkatsu in the tonkatsu set meal, and how tender it was. Feels like it's run by a whole family, but especially the old guy in the back has an aura of running it for years, making you think 'this is definitely delicious!' While thinking that I waited, and it really was delicious. I was planning to go to a Western-style restaurant, but it was great meeting this shop. 'Since the volume is huge, we're out of rice right now!' he told a new customer. Lol I hope this kind of shop continues forever. I'll come again.
