Western-style restaurant "Amporutan", right in front of Shirasagi Station. I visited for dinner. I made a phone reservation a few hours in advance ♪ The interior has about 18 table seats, quite spacious, and had a Western-style atmosphere ❣️ I ordered the recommended hamburger steak, rice + miso soup (1200 yen). I could hear the sound of the hamburger patty being patted from the table seats! It's the first time I've heard a restaurant patting patties ‼️ It might take around 15 minutes, but it arrived in about 10 minutes. The hamburger steak came with potatoes and corn. The hamburger steak was the most delicious I've ever had in my life ‼️ First of all, it was tender! The demi-glace sauce is delicious, the meat is not greasy and delicious 😋 The side potatoes and corn were also very delicious ♪ The rice was soft and delicious! The miso soup is a special miso soup made from dashi stock, so the bonito dashi was extremely prominent, giving a real "this is miso soup" feeling. It was delicious ♪ I additionally ordered fried rice. Arrived in about 5 minutes. Run by a parent and child at the Nankai Koya Line Shirasagi Station west exit, in that sense it's a family restaurant. (laughs) Since there is a university nearby, there are many diners and restaurants around the school geared towards students, so the presence of an adult-oriented restaurant like this is very appreciated. My top recommendation at Amporutan is the daily lunch special. The main dish is a two-top system where one of them is an original menu item. You can't get this taste at a chain family restaurant, you must try it once ❗️

A long-established Western-style restaurant right in front of Shirasagi Station on the Nankai Koya Line, Amporutan is a shop with a nostalgic atmosphere and taste. If you walk a little further from the station, there are many shops geared towards college students and youths, but this place has an adult-oriented atmosphere in a good way. I had the loin cutlet; an orthodox style and honest taste, it was wonderful. The miso soup ordered as a set with rice is a masterpiece, featuring a deep dashi stock and simply delicious.

I had the hamburger steak. It's 900 yen a la carte. A hamburger steak served on a piping hot iron plate makes your spirits rise, doesn't it. I'd be happy if adding rice made it 1000 yen.

An old-school restaurant. I ordered the pork cutlet. The volume was large, but the taste was average. However, set meals have an additional charge, with rice and miso soup costing +300 yen. Rice alone is +200 yen. It feels a bit pricey. The miso soup was slightly sweet, but had a homemade feel and was delicious. There was no lunch menu, probably because it was Sunday.
