The staff member serving rice (a blonde woman) serves different amounts depending on the customer. When an elementary-school child ordered a large, the rice looked almost the same as a medium. The receipt clearly showed medium 250円 and large 320円. I should have said something then, but the office workers and other men lining up afterward got heaping bowls. She wasn't weighing it, so perhaps she thought this much would be enough for a child, but I wasn't satisfied.

I came in around 13:00 on a day off. Quite a few seats were empty. I ordered curry rice ¥550, korokke ¥120, chicken karaage ¥380, ham salad ¥200, rice (medium) ¥200, tonjiru ¥200, chicken teriyaki ¥350, and koyadofu tamagotoji ¥200. The taste was so-so, neither good nor bad. It's nice that even when going with several people, everyone can choose what they like.

Staff member Ｙ's checkout service was terrible. I needed the receipt, but without even asking whether I wanted it, they tossed it into the unwanted-receipt container. I eventually got the receipt, but it left me feeling upset. I imagine they were busy at lunchtime, but I think their customer-service attitude needs some improvement.

I visited まいどおおきに食堂 堺泉北2号線食堂. The style of choosing your own favorite side dishes is convenient, and the many home-style flavors make the food comforting to eat. The grilled fish and tamagoyaki were especially delicious. The interior is bright with fairly spacious seating, creating an atmosphere where it's easy to enjoy a relaxed meal. The prices are affordable too, and I think it's just right for everyday dining.

It was delicious. There are lots of different dishes and they're cheap, so when you're hungry you end up overeating.
