★(Closed Wednesday) (September 2025) ☆Yachiyo Sushi-san ★There was a delicious sushi restaurant in the neighborhood! (Takeout shop) Samples (with prices) are lined up in the showcase. For nigiri, if you tell them, the master will make it right away. Maki sushi (special/regular) has a gentle taste♪ I also like shrimp pressed sushi. Run by an elderly couple. I hope they stay healthy and keep doing their best.
View on GoogleIt's a takeout-only sushi shop that almost everyone in the area knows. Reasonable and delicious sushi. It's popular enough for customers to queue up around lunchtime. The regular holiday is Wednesday, but please note that they may be closed due to circumstances sometimes. Special roll and kaiware nigiri are recommended.
View on GoogleRelaxing on a Saturday afternoon, thinking of having a late lunch, I went to buy sushi ~ takeout only. A sushi restaurant I've been curious about, it seems to be run by the chef and his wife. It has a somewhat nostalgic storefront that seems to have been there since I could remember~ There was a customer ahead in the shop, and they were just finishing payment and coming out. Sushi samples were lined up in the glass case, and several packs of finished sushi were also lined up on top of the glass case~ There were items you could buy without waiting, and there was one serving of nigiri and roe of herring nigiri so I chose those, and since I wanted to eat tekka, I had them roll one roll~ Since it was a little under 1500 yen for this, I think nigiri and tekka were 1000 yen and roe of herring nigiri was a little under 500 yen~ I suppose if you say what you want to eat, they will make and pack it~ I don't think the price is surprising, but it's not 100 yen conveyor belt sushi~ (Satisfaction exceeded the price and it was delicious) Finished payment in no time, went home and had lunch. Delicious ~ It's great to easily enjoy sushi made by a chef. It's unlike conveyor belt sushi, fresh fish section sushi, or supermarket sushi~ Toppings were also neat, and the slightly smaller shari felt nice and good. Delicious! Roe of herring nigiri was unusual and good, I liked it very much ~ The roe of herring was crispy and underneath it, between the shari, katsuobushi felt nice, it's delicious. I want to buy it again. The chef and his wife were friendly and gave a favorable impression ~ Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleTakeout-only sushi shop in Nishiyamadai, Sayama City. Operation has probably exceeded 40 years! Stopped by on the way back from Kawachinagano for the first time in a while. The recommendation is the Jumbo Maki as seen in the photo, 1080 yen. It is packed with ingredients like eel, octopus, shrimp, cucumber, egg, fillings, and oboro. Since this shop makes the fillings and oboro by hand, it's delicious. Of course, the egg is also hand-grilled with time and effort, so it's delicious. The chef and the proprietress are getting older, but just like the old days, they are friendly and doing their best. Although not available this time, Saba Matsumae-zushi is also recommended. The Matsumae kelp is also homemade kelp, so it has sweetness and is delicious combined with marinated mackerel! A cheap and great deal shop.
View on GoogleNigiri 1.5 portions (1,080 yen), Assortment 1.5 portions (1,080 yen) An old-school takeout-only sushi shop in a residential area where you'd think, "In a place like this!?". Delicious takeout that feels like careful work.
