Knowing about the Otokojuku Festival from YouTuber Oga-san's video (already ended), I visited the Sayama branch for the first time (usually I go to the Kaizuka branch). Otokojuku Ramen festival price 850 yen. Usually I only choose Jukucho Ramen, so the luxurious Otokojuku Ramen is my first time and I'm very much looking forward to it. Since it's new, the inside of the store is very clean. The floor staff is a languid older sister, but she works properly and explained the bonus free topping ticket properly ☺️ Otokojuku for the first time in a while, last time at the Kaizuka branch the amount of mashi-mashi was crazy, so I chickened out and ordered garlic veg mashi oil mashi-mashi. I was moved that Oka-san whom I saw as the manager of the Nagai store in "Udon Soba Kansai" served the ramen 😆 Did he become the manager of the Sayama branch? Or is it help? And it's super delicious 🥹. Regret for not making the veggies mashi-mashi 😭. Will go again soon. Noted Oct 21, R7 Said to close on Monday Nov 3 next month... Too soon... Do I have to go all the way to Kaizuka branch again ~, I'll go though.
View on GoogleFirst visit with 3 people around 19:00 on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Personally, I liked it because it was delicious and voluminous, and among Jiro-style stores, the inside was quiet and I could eat calmly! However, at the entrance of the shop, there was a notice of closing on November 3, 2025, I felt it was a pity for a delicious shop. Whether it's because the location makes it difficult to exit toward Osaka (turn right) from the parking lot, or because there are few students in the neighborhood who like Jiro style, I don't know, Personally, I want them to open a store in Matsubara City next time.
View on GoogleI've been rotating between Fukuchian and Otokojuku. Glad to have you back 😊 The ramen has a much gentler taste compared to inspirations like Rekishi o Kizame. Adding ramen tare on the table increases the punch and is recommended. The vegetables are crispy and sprinkled with pepper, delicious. Overall I like it a lot, but the garlic is too coarse. Un-chopped garlic is clumped in chunks and is very spicy. I think it's a good shop if they improve this. Also, I was shocked that the kayumeshi that used to be on the menu is gone. Please revive this too ~ 😭 I went there for the first time in a while the other day, but I felt it got much better. The garlic was properly minced and delicious. The second photo is that picture.
View on GoogleOrdered Jukucho Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen. The taste of the ramen completely loses to the store name and product name. Noodles, soup, pork to vegetables, fat, everything is mild. To put it badly, it lacks personality. No punch. So the happiness of devouring Jiro style is zero. It's not bad, but everything is underwhelming. If this is the case, I'd rather go to Rekishi o Kizame in Nakamozu even if I have to wait in line for at least an hour.
View on GooglePerfect for heavy meal lovers!! I ate shoyu tonkotsu. You can choose the amount of vegetables, pork back fat, and garlic. Kayumeshi can be ordered as a finale (free) The noodles are thick and even if you order normal they are firm, so those who usually order 'konatoshi, harigane' will be fine with a normal order. Bean sprouts have a lot of pepper so it might make your throat a little thirsty. Since they are thick noodles, they fill your stomach a lot. Even for those who can usually eat quite a lot, reaching the finale is a hurdle...
