I'm just leaving this eating place now after visiting my mother who lives in a nursing home near here. Very nice, clean and quiet. 1700 yen UNAGI lunch is equal to A$16. So cheap! Awesome place to eat! You couldn't eat this wonderful quality food with A$16 in Australia! すごくおいしかった！Can't wait to come back again in December. If you decide to come and try, be respectful to locals, be quiet, and please don't be loud. Thank you.

First visit around 7:20 PM on a weekday ✨ Came craving fluffy Kanto-style eel 🙋‍♀️ Ordered the Unaju Kiwami for 4,400 yen and the Unatama-don for 2,600 yen 😋 To my surprise, the Unaju Kiwami uses one and a half whole eels 👏 Thoroughly satisfied with both portion and flavor 🙌 Also got an eel liver skewer using a LINE coupon 🍴 Sister shop of Fuku Sushi 🍣 using Japanese eel. They welcomed us with a stroller 👶🏻 Nearby coin parking 🅿️ was 440 yen.

The lone staff member was working hard by herself, but the service was wonderful. She never forgot to attend to waiting guests with friendly updates while managing takeout orders, offering genuinely heartfelt hospitality. When things backed up, someone even came out from the kitchen to take orders—truly attentive service. The eel is the fluffy type rather than crispy. I thought it could have been served a bit hotter, but it was still delicious. The Unatama-don has 500g of rice, so it's super filling. One wet wipe wasn't quite enough, so having paper napkins on the table would be appreciated. A great restaurant.

Had plans to visit Senbayashi Shopping Street and looked up places on Google Maps to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff's polite tone and the shop's ambiance are bright and calming. Since it's domestic eel with a gentle, delicious flavor, I devoured it in no time! Will recommend it to friends.

Came for lunch on 5/26. First time visiting. I had the Unaju Matsu. The plump, fluffy grilled texture was incredibly delicious (๑´ڡ`๑) Extra sauce was provided on the side, but it was delicious enough even without adding more. Since I'm not a local I probably can't come often, but if I'm at the Senbayashi Omiya shopping street, this is the spot! The main goal for today is 'Shintoku Onsen.' Heading to the hot springs now, and if it's great, the combo will be onsen + 'Unagi no Ippukudo'!!
