Everything was delicious. Though the names were a bit different than usual, negima was negimi and things like this. But everything we got was great. I really liked the soup, the heart, the chicken ham yukke and chicken wings. The beers were also big and everything was reasonably priced.

1st floor is counter seating only, 2nd floor has tatami rooms Full even on a weekday. The best yakitori I've ever eaten. It's meticulous. Every single step. A veteran yakitori craftsman. Today, too, grilling single-mindedly with a serious look. The onigiri and matcha ice cream were delicious too.

I went to 鳥まさ, a yakitori place in Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka. I was craving yakitori, and while searching for a good place, this one had high Google reviews, so I went. The shop has an old-established atmosphere and seems to have been around for a long time. Inside there's a counter, and it seems there's a tatami room on the 2nd floor. This time I ate at the counter. First I ordered the hinedori tataki The crunchy texture and the spicy kick of yuzu kosho go really well together. Next, duck tataki with green onion. Duck's distinctive sweetness. The moist texture and the negi ponzu are great. The jaga butter unusually comes with shiokara too. The skin is crispy, and there's lots of butter🧈 on it. It seems you can only order 1 chicken skin skewer per person. The skin here is really big — I'd never seen skin like this. Besides that, I ordered negimi, kimo, kokoro, and to finish, a chicken rice bowl and chicken soba. The chicken soba is a light soy sauce-based ramen. Perfect for finishing off. The chicken quality was excellent. A pretty high-level place! Thanks for the meal!

Unless you're a regular, really don't go The owner's attitude is the worst. The food isn't even that good. The chicken soba and chicken rice mentioned in other reviews weren't good at all either. From ordering to the food arriving took 30 minutes at the shortest. Some things came out 2 hours after we ordered. It's fine that they ask for drinks first and bring them right away, but by the time the food arrives, the carbonation is gone and the ice has melted. Anyway, I don't recommend going. I suspect the high Google rating is padded by regulars.

My favorite yakitori place. It's just cheap and delicious. The master comes across as a little shy, but the regulars love him. The master looks like Ebizo and loves motorcycles. The shop is run by the master, his mother, his wife, and some part-time ladies. It starts getting crowded after 7 PM. There's a tatami room on the 2nd floor. All kinds of customers come, from people on their own to groups. I always order the half course, add a few skewers à la carte, and always finish with chicken zosui. That always leaves my belly happily full. A place that fills you up and is easy on the wallet.
