One of the best tempura I had. It wasnt greasy and it was light on the stomach, yet more than enough. Very kind waiter and 3 chefs that are masters in their tempura craft. Highly recommended! We chose the premium tempura menu. The shrimps, fish and vegetables were all great! Also very good miso soup! Keep in mind, there is no English menu. Translator is necessary, but doable!

Such a lovely dining experience. The chef was so friendly and the rest of the staff was very nice. The food was delicious and fresh. Very unique experience in a small local restaurant. Just need to translate the menu and you'll be all set, all taste great either way!

This was an amazing off the beaten path tempura experience!!! The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal -- there's no English menu but the folks here speak a little bit and Google translate works great on the menu Everything was cooked to perfection! The chef is an elderly man who clearly puts a lot of care and experience into cooking

This is such a hidden gem. We sat at the bar and watched the chefs make the fresh tempura right in front of us. The chefs and staff were so funny and so kind even though we didn’t speak any Japanese. The tempura was delicious cause it was so fresh. We’ve never experienced tempura as special as this.

After a day of touring Osaka Castle on a rainy day my wife and I were tired and hungry when we happened to find Shinsai Hiroshicho. The staff is very friendly and professional. The tempura is cooked in front of you so you know you are getting the freshest ingredients which is shown in the delicious taste of the food. I’m glad we found this amazing tempura place, very delicious!
