The friend I was here with chose the place because is a restaurant with tradition and they are recommended having the best Okonomiyaki. Here was the first time I had this traditional japanese dish and I was pleasantly surprised. The owners of the place are serving here, and the dishes are cooked in your sight. The dish was really delicious. Also the cocktail (whose name I forgot) was good.

We visited a small restaurant called Takara located in Osaka with our family. The owner, who mentioned having studied in the United States for about a year, informed us that they are currently running the shop with his mother, continuing a family tradition that has lasted for about 50 years. Our family ordered Asahi beer, okonomiyaki, and Yaki udon. One of the highlights was that they cooked the dishes directly on the hotplate in front of us, providing entertainment along with the meal. The okonomiyaki had just the right amount of seasoning and tasted delicious, although the Yaki udon felt a bit too salty for our taste. Nonetheless, we appreciated the effort put into preparing the dishes and finished everything with gusto. The prices are also quite affordable. The staff was extremely friendly, and the cozy atmosphere of the tiny restaurant added to the charm of the experience.
