A cosy cafe on my way from hotel to Osaka JR station. At breakfast time, choosing any coffee from their menu (there are plenty to choose from, different beans, or different blended coffee), you can get a toast for free. Or you can get an egg and salad for just ¥50.

Excellent coffee from owner. This cup of coffee made me understand how Japanese blue mountain coffee are good. Rich strong but smooth. Vintage cafe atmosphere. Smoking are allowed that made me feel uncomfortable because I don’t smoke. Really enjoy their coffee. Will be back again. Cash only. Enjoy!

Milk Ice Coffee 700 yen 🍰Details🍰 A shop I'd been curious about for a while☕️ It's famous for its Mont Blanc toast, which was even featured on TV, but… this time… I had the Milk Ice Coffee! This one is unusual too, the café au lait doesn't get watered down even as time passes, and it looks striking, so I'd been curious about it!!☕️ A quintessential kissaten atmosphere. The coffee ice is apparently just iced coffee frozen as is! The milk is Daisen milk, rich with a clean aftertaste!

After eating the kiritama hiyashi chuka at Kirimen in LINKS UMEDA, to help digest, I went through the Hanshin Department Store basement to Osaka Ekimae Dai-4 Building. This route from the Hanshin basement to the Ekimae buildings is convenient. Then, at the kissaten Spagnola in Building 3, I went in as if drawn inside. It was full, but a table for 2 opened up, so I was seated quickly. I ordered the blueberry yogurt parfait. The subtle tartness of the blueberries matched the yogurt and it was very delicious! The Ekimae buildings have some iconic kissaten, so here's a list.
