Sauce katsudon 800 yen Thick, crispy coating. Soba that's like udon. A kind, energetic lady working the floor, cheerfully chatting about nothing in particular with the regulars.

Came for lunch. The food doesn't come out fast, so it's a no-go if you're in a hurry. The owner's wife is friendly, and the atmosphere inside is nice too.

For better or worse, it's an ordinary, run-of-the-mill soba shop. The uniform, sweetish soba broth tastes like something you've had somewhere before, far from anything you can only get here. You can eat here relaxed without any pretension, so I recommend it for office workers in the neighborhood. Smoking is OK at all seats at all hours, so I recommend it for smokers too.

Delicious, cheap, filling, and a fast lunch special—the best❗ Soba with katsudon on the side for 750 yen. After I ordered, the food came out in under 5 minutes. I definitely want to go eat there again.
