Found this place while walking around and everywhere else was crowded. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! While there is no English menu, there was little issue. The cook/host/server Yo was extremely friendly and beyond patient. Drinks were strong and hit the spot, especially the sangria with pineapple pieces. The food prepared was outstanding and delicious, one of our favorites by far and will recommend to everyone

Went to Sanrokugo Shokudo in Higobashi which I've been curious about for a long time! First, the assorted appetizer platter we ordered was luxuriously piled with homemade quiche, duck roast, raw ham, potato salad, etc., making us deeply moved right from the first dish! The grilled eggplant, slowly and aromatically roasted with the salty touch of raw ham in an exquisite match, and the fig fritter with a crispy outside and melty-sweet inside—every dish had a superb sense of taste and made the wine unstoppable. In a calm, stylish space, it was cozy, and the careful handiwork in every single dish shines through. A renowned shop I want to wholeheartedly recommend for nights when you want to leisurely enjoy delicious food and alcohol around Higobashi!

Visited at 11:30 on a weekday. There is no parking or bicycle parking. There was no queue and I got in smoothly. There are five 4-person tables and four counter seats. I was asked beforehand whether I wanted the standard menu or the daily special. They said large portions are also available. I hesitated about the daily special, but Ordered the standard Bolognese. It comes with an assorted appetizer and is priced at 1000 yen. Since I was guided to the counter, They cook right in front of your eyes. Food is also placed on the counter within arm's reach right in front of you. Appetizers came in about 5 minutes. The pumpkin was sweet and delicious! The carrots tasted somewhat like sesame oil and were fresh~ The Bolognese pasta was delicious! Since there was a lot of sauce, I ate the leftover sauce by dipping the bread I had left from the appetizer. Throughout, I was the only customer, so working right in front of me made me eat a little nervously. Since it's an office district, maybe customers increase from around 12? It's not worth going out of your way from afar to visit, but if it were nearby, its affordable price and deliciousness would make me want to become a regular. Thank you. Thank you for the meal.
