Cozy and cute cafe by the river. Their selling point is their edible cups but the food and drinks itself were just okay.
View on GoogleI'll start off by saying the novelty of the edible cups here is the biggest selling point. If you want those they are very small and are for strong espresso and match drinks. If you like those types of drinks, it's great, if not then you'll likely be better off with non ecocup drinks. The service was super nice and while they didn't have a fully English menu, ordering was still very easy in English. They give you a buzzer and it vibrates when your drink is ready. The atmosphere is my favorite part. This place feels like the beat kind of hole in the wall, it brings me back to a coffee shop I went to in downtown Philadelphia. No idea if this building is that old but it feels like it. It's right across from a park and some water, so getting a window seat is great for people watching.
View on GoogleA cafe in Osaka located close to the river. The waitress was quite helpful and kind. Their coffee and strawberry milk were tasty. Their famous cookie cup was cute but not tasty as expected, it's just for the gimmick.
View on GoogleCozy spot with funky retro music. Coffee was delicious, cookie cups were the right amount of sweet. Our 8 y/o said it was the best cafe she’s been to. The barista noticed her “seal” bag and created a latte art in the form of a seal face
View on Google100% edible cookie cup expresso shot? Warm expresso melting the inner white chocolate lining of a crunchy cookie cup, infusing the sweet into the bitter. A cat expression on top sums up the kawaii experience as A throwback theme cafe with furniture and machinery from the 80s. Wooden, leather and metal feel. Service staff was friendlt and stylish with their own brand on t-shirt. Tiramisu was flavourful too, with burst of coffee flavour amongst the soft layers. Come on and eat your cup =)
