I was looking for espresso, and Poem came up when I searched in Maps. Everything was fine, except they don't have espresso. Otherwise a lovely spot for lunch.
View on GoogleWide variety of breakfast options, generous portions, and great value for money. The cheese toast was about as thick as a 4-slice cut bread. There are lots of comic books placed inside the shop.

View on GoogleI happened to find and enter this place while waiting for my mother's eye checkup time. It was almost the end of breakfast hours, but the staff kindly said "It's fine" and let me order the thick cheese toast! With coffee just to my liking, there are various breakfast and lunch menus, and I'm thinking of ordering lunch next time. The shop has quite a lot of seats and many manga and reading materials, so it seems like I can spend a relaxing and good time.
View on GoogleI've been frequenting here often since a year ago. Because I liked the atmosphere, and the coffee and bread were delicious. Breakfast comes with two slices of bread, but one day only one slice from the very end of a loaf of bread came out. The back side was entirely the crust. At that time I thought, huh?, but I thought it was just a coincidence and tried not to think deeply about it. When I went the other day both slices came out at the end, and thinking this is too much... I went to the kitchen to tell them. Is this normal? I asked. It's normal, they pretended it was a coincidence. I also worked in a coffee shop for several years so I know. Both ends of a loaf of bread should be cut off, right? For both slices to be ends, you can only think that they saved them when cutting the bread and purposely served them by choosing customers. As soon as I returned to my seat, the mama came over and asked if she wanted to replace it, but I declined because I didn't think this sadness would go away with that. For example, would they treat regular customers or male customers like this? I could infer that it was harassment aimed at young women (relatively in this shop). It's painful to realize how shallow the owner's humanity is. The fact that I was done to means they are probably doing it to others too. How sad. Since I liked the mama-san and the atmosphere of the shop, I hesitated whether to write a review, but please forgive me because I was just too heartbroken. I won't go anymore. It's very regrettable.
