This is a place I've been curious about ever since 'Kissa Soma' told me about it, and yesterday they uploaded the 'Saturday-only lunch' menu on Instagram, which made me want to eat it so I came. I arrived near the shop, but there's no building that looks like an eatery, and it's a hidden-gem shop that suddenly appears in a residential area, which already makes me excited just by that. When I arrive, the owner greets me with a gentle smile, which relaxes me right from the start. Here, it's an order-and-pay-first system, so you finish paying before entering the entrance. As soon as you go up the entrance there are stairs, and if you proceed to the 2nd floor where the eat-in space is, a tatami-matted room spreads out giving a parents' home feel. You are driven by an impulse to want to sprawl out in an 'X' shape. *It seems some people actually fall asleep. The plate that arrived shortly after was piled high with plenty of vegetables, and lots of side dishes that don't use meat or eggs. - Soy meat karaage - Daikon radish fritters - Assorted greens with sesame dressing - Stir-fried yacon - Simmered hijiki - Dried daikon radish namul - Beet and okara potato salad - Carrot marinated in salt-lemon koji - Barley rice They strive to use organic ingredients as much as possible, and it's nice to be able to have safe and secure meals using additive-free fermented seasonings. And to think you can get this for a staggering price of ¥1,080, it's already overflowing with so much kindness it's causing a major traffic jam. Each item is carefully prepared, and all had gentle seasonings and were very delicious. Chewing well and taking my time, I slowly and leisurely savored it. Since I went out of my way, I decided to have sweets too, and placed an additional order while going to the restroom on the 1F. 'Cranberry Chocolat Tofu Cake' ¥550. Even though it used tofu, it wasn't crumbly, moist and smooth, and super delicious. Even after the meal, I leisurely made an Instagram post, and was allowed to relax to the max. This makes you want to become a regular. PayPay etc. can be used. Closed on Sundays, Fridays, and the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Mondays, and open from 11:00-16:00. *Lunch is only on Saturdays. There is no parking lot at the shop. Bicycles can be parked slightly in front of the shop, and at the bicycle parking lot in front of Minami-Tanabe Station, a 3-minute walk away.

It's amazing that even though they use body-friendly ingredients, it's solidly delicious. With a gentle sweetness, these are snacks you can feel safe letting children eat. They also keep well, so being able to stock up is a joy too! The owner is friendly and cute, and the shop's atmosphere is very wonderful, making me want to visit over and over again, I'll go buy from there again ♡

I ended up coming to this shop after finding a vendor wholesaling vegan muffins at Tomato Kazoku, a greengrocer in Tani-roku. The products are all Vegan. Since no sugar is used, it has a natural sweetness. The cakes are also of a high standard. From the shop flyer I received, you can see their commitment to ingredients. Plus, it's all handwritten! I like shops like this. -----After shop relocation----- I used the eat-in for the first time. You can't order inside; you order outside just like for takeout and are guided inside. Because it's a space with atmosphere like a renovated old folk house, you take off your shoes to go up. Eat-in requires purchasing 1 drink. If you are coming by bicycle, you cannot park in front of the shop. Please use the free bicycle parking lot around JR Hanwa Line Minami-Tanabe Station, or under the elevated tracks from the station toward Tsurugaoka.
