I visited "Osaka Ohsho Nagayoshi Nagahara" for the first time in a while! This time I ordered the yakimeshi, gyoza, fried chicken drumettes, and other things I'd been looking forward to. Gyoza: Beautifully browned and crisp, with juices and filling umami spreading through your mouth, reliably delicious in a way that makes you think "Yep, this is it!" Yakimeshi: Fluffy, separated grains with a toasty finish and perfect seasoning. It had been a while, but it was as exquisite as ever, I couldn't put the spoon down! Fried chicken drumettes: Crispy outside, juicy inside with concentrated flavor; I squeezed lemon on and enjoyed them refreshingly. It was my first visit in a while, but everything I ordered was excellent, a deeply satisfying meal beyond my expectations! I'd like to come back soon.
View on GoogleOsaka Ohsho"'s ultra-delicious gyoza! One bite packed with dedication, a convincing taste "As you'd expect from a restaurant that has kept pursuing the best flavor throughout its long history of about 50 years, the quality of the gyoza is on another level! They're really particular about ingredients, generously using domestic pork and carefully selected domestic cabbage, so with every bite the natural sweetness of the ingredients spreads. There's plenty of ginger cut into larger pieces, and its flavor adds a nice accent, so it's refreshing and really delicious. Apparently they carefully select garlic that won't leave you with heartburn or a smell afterward, so it's great that you can enjoy it without worry between work or at lunch. Not mass-produced, but finished one by one by craftsmen with care, I was convinced that this moving flavor is possible precisely because of their commitment to 'small-lot production.' The perfect partner for the popular gyoza is yakimeshi or tenshinhan After agonizing, I ordered tenshinhan and tried it It was more delicious than I imagined! What catches your eye first is the plump shrimp floating in the thick sauce. Just looking at it whets your appetite. The egg is fluffy, and pairs perfectly with their special soy sauce-based sauce. The restaurant's attitude of thoroughly pursuing ingredient balance and quality, asking 'how can we make it taste even better,' seems condensed into this gentle flavor. Order it together with gyoza and you'll have a truly blissful lunchtime!" Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleYakimeshi, gyoza, fried chicken wings The gyoza are cooked perfectly! The yakimeshi has quite a lot of volume even in regular size. It'd be great if they had a lunch menu with half fried rice. Thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleI went at lunchtime, so there was a bit of a wait before I got in. I'd heard the yakisoba was good, so I ordered it, and it was crazy delicious. I also ordered the karaage? as a set, and it was excellent too. A place I'd like to stop by again when I'm nearby.
View on GoogleMachi-chuka No. 224" Their thin-skinned gyoza, packed with cabbage and filling, are popular, and I'd heard the fried rice was good too, so I went in with high hopes. First in at opening. 2 or 3 in the kitchen, and the girl working the floor was friendly. There's no paper menu inside, only the menu on the wall above the counter. You might be lost if you didn't do your homework. Ordered "2 servings of gyoza / large fried rice." First, the soup for the fried rice arrived. A slightly sweet chicken-bone soy soup. After a gap, 2 servings of gyoza. They looked nicely browned and substantial. Customers started coming in one after another; it felt like 12 or 13 minutes. Maybe because it was rush time? The fried rice was portioned out per order from a wok that was being tossed endlessly as a big pre-fry batch. The gyoza had gone a bit cold. With Chinese food, you want to eat it all together. It's not a course meal, you know. Maybe that's why there are no set meals or combos. Do they lack the skill to time the gyoza after taking orders? ※Gyoza / they're tasty, sure, but compared to the punch of Chinese places around Nishinari, even if theirs are misshapen.... Sometimes gyoza taste better when they look a bit crude. It feels like Manshu and Ohsho added together, divided by two, and made bigger. ※Fried rice / like fried rice pre-fried in a big batch and portioned out as is. I think it's undercooked. I just had amazing fried rice at a ramen place in Tsumori the other day (purely my taste, though), so I can't help comparing. The super-sweet fukujinzuke goes well with it, and the gyoza are decent, so I finished it, but got tired of it by the end. With no sets or set meals, it's all à la carte, so it feels pricey. Somewhere between 3 and 4. It's popular, so maybe other things are good.
