This cozy izakaya became one of the highlights of our Osaka trip. The food was amazing, with generous servings that felt warm and comforting with every bite. We sat at the counter and ended up having such a great conversation with the staff. They even asked me to write in their guestbook 🥺 We loved it so much, we came back the next day. And they remembered us. I mentioned we might have left our umbrella, but said it was okay if it was gone. Not only did they return it, they also gifted us another one 🫶 Definitely a place I will bring my friends and family to when we return to Japan.
View on GoogleVery lovely beginner-level izakaya hidden away in an easy-to-miss-alleyway. It's run by a family and very welcoming to foreigners, the staff also understands basic english even if the menu isn't in english (google translate understands the main dishes, for the real izakaya dishes you'll still need to know some katakana to google them). Tried most of their food across 3 days here and literally everything was good- You get extra brownie points if you understand izakaya norms and order a drink to go with your meal 😃
View on GoogleWe went the moment after we checked into hotel! My son said it’s the best homely food, cooked from the heart. I ordered the trio so I can get to taste everything! We went back on a Tuesday again before leaving Osaka but they are closed. The lady (CEO tag) was so kind and warm, she recommended us to go touch the feet of Billiken for happiness. Please bring cash to dine here. ❤️
View on GoogleDelicious, authentic, home-cooked meals. The service was very helpful and lovely, we really appreciated they use Google translator to communicate with non-Japanese speakers :)
View on GoogleIt is an extremely cozy place especially after a rainy day to have a warm plate of curry rice. The curry rice, siew mai, yakitori and all their dish are UMAIII!! The people are extremely welcoming too, which warrants me to visit the next day.
