Moppy’s Balloon Trip is a charming, family-friendly ride in Universal Wonderland at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. It features Moppy, an adorable pink monster from Sesame Street, taking guests on a whimsical balloon adventure. Riders sit in colorful balloon-themed gondolas that gently rise and spin, offering a delightful floating sensation perfect for young children and families. The ride’s cheerful design, pastel colors, and playful atmosphere create a magical experience. As one of Universal Wonderland’s most beloved attractions, Moppy’s Balloon Trip is a must-visit for those seeking a lighthearted, fun-filled ride that captures the joy and imagination of childhood.

Extremely disorganized ride. The workers managing the ride would inexplicably let the balloons half empty for some reason and let sit only two people or even one person per ride, increasing the waiting times for everybody. Moreover, whenever someone with a timed ticket arrived, they would let them immediately pass ahead of everybody in the queue, instead of doing some mix and matching. What was a 20' queue quickly became a 45' wait, making this ride a horrible experience

Balloon basket similar to the teacup ride, can spin round and round.

It just goes up and comes back down. It spins, but there's no point. Kiddie stuff. The chance of riding Moppy's balloon is a 1/8 gacha. But once you're on it you can't see it, so there's no point. The line is sneakily long, so you should grab a reserved ride.

An attraction that supports reserved rides. The balloons spin, but if you turn the wheel the gondola spins too, so the ride is pretty intense.
