"Tsukemen Marubushi" is a tsukemen specialty shop along R26 in Nishinari, Osaka, about a 5-minute walk from Tengachaya Station. It's known for the deep, rich flavor of its double soup, made with a flavorful blended dashi and a chicken-and-pork-bone soup. In particular, our noodles, freshly made every morning and sourced from Asakusa Kaikaro, a long-established noodle maker founded in 1950, pair perfectly with the soup, and their chewy texture is addictive. Our special tsukemen, with plenty of toppings and generous portions, has been well received by many customers. Please come and enjoy a bowl made with care!

Without a doubt, this was the best meal I had during my trip to Osaka. The balance of spiciness and umami was amazing. The spice level might be a little mild for Koreans, but if you add the chili flakes provided on the table, it’s absolutely perfect. The owner was very friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. I didn’t think I’d ever come back to Osaka, but this meal actually made me reconsider. It was so good that it made me want to visit Osaka again. 번창하세요.

First time ever trying tsukemen, and it truly felt mindfully crafted! I ordered the option with two dipping soups, both were excellent, rich and well-balanced, but the black soup was the clear winner. Deep, intense, and full of umami, it tasted thoughtfully made, with layers of flavor that stayed with me long after the meal 🤤🤤 After finishing the noodles, you can request either rice or broth to enjoy the remaining soup. I chose the broth, and it completely transformed the experience, lighter, smoother, yet somehow even more flavorful. It felt like discovering a second dimension of deliciousness 🍲🤎 Perfect noodles, great balance, and an experience I won’t forget!

¥1250 Tsukemen つけ麺 and ¥250 rice to go with the soup later. (April 2026) Arriving at 6pm sharp by the time the shop is opened. So I am the first 5 customers who get to order and seat. Has English menu. Cash only please. Cash only please. Order at machine and present the card to the ramen sensei. There is only 1 person working so I am quite surprised and happy to watch him move and work his way to serve food to customers. It is always a joy to see a one-chef-show. It takes about 7-10mins for my noodle to arrive. Nicely presented. The noodle looked a lot but infact there is a shallow bowl, so not as much. The broth is thick as I expected. And it also has a nice explanation on how to enjoy Tsukemen. I like the noodle better as they are thicker and chewier. For any reason, I enjoy watching my chef working more than I enjoy the noodle 😂 When I finished I thought the rice is free but he signaled me to order first so I pay another ¥250 to get a smaller bowl of rice with 2 chunk of meat. Indeed with the soup it is better and also fill me up easily (there is a pun unsatisfied here) I finished my noodle. There are people waiting already, so I said my thanks and leave. The evening comes with my stomach filled and my heart empty. Another day has just passed and I shall move on.

Having tried a fair share of Tsukemen, this is the best Tsukemen I've ever eaten! Tucked into a quiet neighbourhood, this place is absoultely worth a visit. The noodles were chewy and the warm broth was filled with intense flavours! The noodles and the borth prefectly complemented each other for an enjoyable eating experience. If you have leftover broth, the chef even provides dashi stock to make it into a soup. Even for those unfamilar with Tsukemen, the chef provides a guide on the best Tsukemen eating experience. By the time I had finished eating, all I wanted was to eat even more Tsukemen. The chef always has a warm, almost cheeky smile on his face while made the experience more memorable. I would recommend this place with no hesitation, and would return again!

If you are looking for a Tsukemen place in Osaka, look no further than this place. Had this on my trip as my first meal, and it was so good that I had to eat it one more time before I left Japan. Broth was expertly prepared, with each ingredients carefully tinged to be powerful, but not over stimulating flavour. The noodles are thick, but has its own unique texture, thickness, and flavour. Best part is that you can order rice or thin broth and place it in your broth to finish up the bowl, which is another experience on its own. Might be a little far from train stations, but I can guarentee that this place is not like any other, and will be well worth the trip down. I will come back again, hungry for another bowl. ごちそうさまでした🙏
