View on GoogleTonkotsu shoyu ramen 700 yen I dropped in on a whim on my way home after drinks with a friend😆 Right by the station, facing the main street with a retro vibe! A long-established shop that's been open for over 30 years✨️ A shop where you can have tonkotsu-based chuka soba♪ There are 2 base flavors, shoyu and miso, and I chose shoyu🍜 A mellow bowl combining a rich broth with the sharpness of shoyu😊 The slightly wavy medium-thick noodles go great with the broth too, Good♪ The melt-in-your-mouth chashu is also a favorite of mine😍 Overall a mild, clean flavor♫ The perfect ramen after drinking!😋 Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleFinished the tonkotsu shoyu chashu-men for 1000 yen. It's tonkotsu shoyu, but unlike so-called iekei ramen, the flavor and fat are relatively light. You declare garlic in advance. Quite a lot of chopped garlic goes in and the garlic flavor works well. The noodles are old-fashioned curly noodles. The only table condiment is pepper. A well-balanced ramen. The chashu was delicious too. Also, it's served quickly. I'm curious about the miso too.
View on GoogleI'd been curious about it for a long time but never had the chance to go. I finally got to go, walked in excited, and it was delicious as expected. I usually don't drink much ramen broth because I worry about too much salt, but it was so good I ended up drinking it. I thought it was amazing that there's still ramen under 1000 yen these days. (It was 1000 yen because I got the chashu-men) I want to go again.
View on GoogleI went right after opening. Imagining something like Tenyo or Satsumakko style, I went in a little excited. When I actually tried it, the soup was on the lukewarm side and overall lacked punch. At first it tastes really salty, but there's a faint sweetness in the aftertaste, so my taste buds got a bit lost, like "Huh? Which is it now?" There seems to be garlic in it, but its presence is very subtle. The noodles are on the soft side, and personally I'd like a bit more firmness. The chashu is well seasoned, so it's rather salty, and the toughness bothered me too. However, the service and the shop's atmosphere are very good, so you can feel at ease in that respect. Overall my impression was "just one more step and it could be really good…!", and this time I felt a bit of a gap from my expectations. Honestly, at the same price range, other options are worth considering.
