The food is excellent, the atmosphere is friendly and the restaurant is truly typical.

These days, I think it's a good place for people who want to smoke indoors. I recommend it for people who just want to drink. My impression is that the snacks aren't for everyone; when I came for a second round and ordered snacks, the seasoning felt a bit strong. The atmosphere is quiet and the clientele is good, so I'd like to go again.

I often go to 鳥貴族 next door, but it's often packed, so I often end up going into 真 next to it instead. It's not a chain, so each dish is properly made by the head chef, which makes it tasty! Unlike 鳥貴族, this place does seafood, so they're clearly differentiated—when you want sashimi, come here!

I was looking for an izakaya near the station I could go into alone and happened to walk in here—the old guy's vibe is great! Cheap and tasty! There are groups being rowdy, but going solo is totally fine! Once you get used to it, it's really comfortable. The sashimi, oden, and so on are delicious.
