The best kushikatsu I've ever tasted (and I've tasted a lot!). There is a good reason why this place is featured in the Michelin guide. Amazing choice of food (I'm vegan and they prepared a full vegan course especially for me), great quality ingredients and a nice, chilled out atmosphere. It's a little out the way, but well worth making the trip for. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

First visit. Kushiage, creative deep-fried skewers. Counter seating only. However, kids are allowed 🆗. Ordered the omakase course where dishes are served continuously. Stopped at 22 skewers. (Other options like a 10-skewer omakase are available.) Even after eating 22 skewers, no heartburn or upset stomach at all. The frying oil is very clean. The batter is crispy on the outside, and although thin, it has a nice chewy texture. You can tell that every single dish involves great care and thorough prep work. The contents of the dishes may change depending on the season. Reasonable considering the taste. Great cost performance. A long-established shop operating for over 30 years, yet there is zero greasiness or run-down feeling inside. Featured as a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. Frequented by celebrities. Extremely delicious, excellent service.

The cars are in the way. As for the taste, maybe because I know better places, it's rather unappetizing. The customer base consists of people who don't have the money to park in the numerous parking lots around, so they park on the street in front of the store. If you're that broke, you should just sell your car. Showing off like that is the end of you.

I always order the omakase course whenever I visit. Run by a married couple, it has a very nice, cozy hidden-gem vibe. The kushikatsu is unquestionably delicious. My recommendation is the komochi konbu (herring roe on kelp). Please give it a try.

I've been visiting here for about 15 years. On my first visit, it was so incredibly delicious that it completely changed my concept of kushikatsu. I brought my husband back when he was still my boyfriend, and he became a fan too; we've been coming here again and again, even now as we approach nearly 10 years of marriage. Chatting with the master and his wife (Kyoko-san) is so fun that we always end up staying longer than intended. Lately, Sundays tend to be crowded, so weekdays or Saturdays might be better for relaxing, but if you want the corner seats, you should make a reservation. To everyone reading this review, I hope you visit at least once to enjoy a delicious, happy, and heartwarming time (^^)
