Reporting from Kogaraya Abeno Branch 💁🏻♂️ I had the set meal with Japanese Black Wagyu curry udon, rice, and a raw egg. First, take a sip of the curry udon soup, then start preparing the tamago kake gohan (raw egg over rice). First, neatly drop just the egg white onto the rice. Then mix just the white rice and the egg white together. Drizzle a bit of soy sauce in there, and mix. Once the white is reasonably blended, place the yolk on top, mix lightly, add a few drops of soy sauce, and it's done. My style is to eat the egg-over-rice using the curry udon as a side dish. Lately curry udon tends to give me a heavy stomach, but it's still something I crave once in a while. Thank you for the meal 🙏
View on GoogleKuromon Karaage Bento 【Includes 4 Extra-Large Pieces】 Visited on a weekday Thursday in late February at 12:25. I wouldn't say it's a bustling area, but the seats were almost fully occupied, and I was able to be seated after waiting a few minutes. Quite a popular spot~. Ordered via touch panel. It arrived in just over 10 minutes. The fried chicken was way BIGGER than it looked in the photo!! It was piping hot, making it a bit tricky to eat since I'm sensitive to hot food, but I was super satisfied (^q^)
View on GoogleThis is a record from a while ago for the chilled curry udon set. The taste isn't bad. Chilled curry udon seems to be a polarizing dish, so that's not the shop's fault. The seasoned rice (takikomi gohan) was delicious. The atmosphere of the shop isn't great. It might be inevitable due to the times, but it feels like they've shifted more towards takeout and delivery rather than dining in, so the interior feels cluttered. It felt kind of like eating in the corner of a factory or office. I also tried takeout, and it was decent. Also, having bad reception so the app wouldn't load was a bit disappointing. However, being open late at night and offering delivery are big pluses. Considering those factors, I gave this rating.
View on GoogleStopped by for lunch. Got the curry udon (beef) and rice set. It also comes with a raw egg. Orders are placed via touch panels at each seat. This is purely personal preference, but I prefer curry udon with a stronger dashi broth flavor, so I felt the heavier curry gravy was a bit lacking. Even so, pouring the curry over the rice mixed with raw egg was delicious. And above all, the size of the fried chicken was shocking. I couldn't finish it, but the staff packed it to go for me! Next time, I'll stick to ordering one piece per person. I arrived just before noon on a Wednesday, but customers gradually piled in to the point where there was a wait! That's just the kind of place it is. Next time I'd like to try something other than curry udon. Factoring in expectations for next time, I'm giving it 4 stars. Thank you for the meal.
