A classic kissaten on Nibangai of Izuo Shopping Street. The stained-glass-style ceiling is stylish. There are 5 kinds of morning sets. All 400 yen (as of Jan 2021). I had the egg toast morning set. It came with a salad too and was delicious.

I sat in a seat right by the entrance looking at my phone, and the woman, the owner maybe?, told me, “The ventilation fan malfunctions from phone signals, so if you're going to use your phone, move to the seat next to it.” Makes no sense. Radio waves can't interfere with a ventilation fan. Even if I give her that, then anywhere in the shop, or whenever other customers are on their phones, the fan should be malfunctioning nonstop lol

I had the kiln-baked hotcake set. My husband thought it was meh, but for me it was just average! I don't know what kiln-baked is supposed to mean, but it was like a fluffy cake with a crispy surface. An all-around average kissaten, straight 3s!

I wonder if the takoyaki shop across the street won't reopen A kissaten that's hard to walk into Whenever I think of going, it's already closing time It's probably a place that can keep going even without much profit
