Kanariya
A parfait specialty shop where you can eat parfaits of outrageous size, and that appears in the media: "Kanariya Honten (Main Store)", about a 2-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station. A parfait specialty shop frequently featured in the media. Originally run as a café, it draws long lines even on weekdays because you can eat outrageously large parfaits. You're sure to be surprised not just by the size but also by how reasonable it is. After 20:00 the menu changes, and alcohol is served too! Since our founding in 1979, we've been delivering smiles to everyone as the town's parfait shop😊 If you have any questions, feel free to contact us! 2-9 Shimoajiharacho, Tennoji-ku, Osaka KANARI…

sweet menu and price setting are very good ! Staffs are ok. One in the kitchen must be nice but the waitress was just ok. It had been a decade since I visited there last time but nothing really has changed, price stays almost the same as before. maybe a bit more than before but still you can enjoy huge parfaits/sundaes less than /around $10.
View on GoogleI came here after more than 15 years. I don't remember the details then but I had a good experience, so I wanted to visit kanariya again. I had 'california' which was orange mousse with yogurt, whipped cream and a little bit of iced cream topped with some slices of orange. It was great because I generally don't like too sweet or too cool. That was better than my memory. The other one my friend had was chocolate flakes. Peanut butter was also tasted, which made it totally awsome❣️
View on GoogleThe extremely popular place famous for its towering parfaits. I assumed that the place was just a shallow facade of a place relying on Instagramable photos rather than quality or taste. I was quite mistaken as the decor is lovely, they serve ice cold refreshing lemon water, and their desserts not only look great, they taste fantastic. This place is the real thing. The reason I am giving it 2 stars is, my wife has an extremely bad allergic reaction to kiwi fruit in which her throat closes and she isn’t able to breathe. We kindly informed the staff of this and they said that would not include the fruit. My wife took a bite of her dish and noticed an itchy sensation. So, I dug around the dish to find 5 pieces of kiwi in her sundae. If you have allergies, make sure, the staff knows. As the staff put my wife’s life in danger, we will never go back.
View on GoogleGreat deal on the parfaits, especially compared to other parts of Osaka.
View on GoogleThe sundae was good, but such a long wait out in the heat. It LOOKED big but about half of it was corn flakes and filler. Not much ice cream at all. Underwhelming given the hype of the place.
