An absolutely authentic Japanese izakaya experience! As a tourist, I experienced a real cultural shock here in the best possible way. I’ve never seen a place so genuinely local—it was packed with Japanese people after work, which is always the best sign that the food is high-quality and affordable.The food was a highlight. The sashimi assortment was incredibly fresh, much better and fresher than in the tourist-heavy spots around Namba. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also absolutely pristine.There were a couple of unique cultural things that surprised me. The waiters sit on their knees/crouch down when taking your order to be at eye level with you, and the entire staff loudly shouts greetings and farewells in unison to every single guest. It’s a bit intense and loud if you aren’t used to it! Also, the salmon belly (Sake Harasu) was extremely fatty and oily—turns out that’s just how this specific cut is traditionally served in Japan, but it might be too heavy for Western tastes. The drinks, however, were excellent, and they even poured me a small glass of sake upon request.If you want to experience a real, lively, unvarnished piece of Osaka night life, this is the perfect place!

A really fun experience - truly local - with delicious food and great service! It is a restaurant for locals and clearly well supported due to the excellent quality and good prices!! It’s loud and bustling but super vibey!

Food was delicious, the sashimi was fresh and the tomato sour was to die for (try it if you enjoy tomato juice)! Ended up ordering many rounds of food. Service staff were efficient too! The only downside for me was that there was only Japanese menu available. The food and drinks were definitely value for money. Highly recommended!!

Excellent izakaya that closes at 2am! We arrived Osaka late due late flight. Checked in to a nearby hotel and were hungry. Googled and found this place. Seated quickly. Place is well lit and bustling with customers. Obviously quite popular. English menu available Ordered a variety of popular food and drinks. Tasty!! Highly recommended

Good atmosphere, great vibes, suitable for gathering. Efficient and friendly services. Tasty food (especially the fried chicken) ichiban!!!! But still affordable with generous amount. Very local yet great for international visitors.
