It got late at night and we decided to eat out; with the long holiday most places were closed, so we came to this place, which was open. There were lots of menu items and we got excited, but... First, the cucumber pickles had Ajinomoto sprinkled on them, which put me off. Everything that came was just salty! The only thing that wasn't salty was the sashimi. Also, there's that common menu item of chicken tsukune with egg yolk for dipping; I think it's meant to be eaten by coating it in rich sauce and egg yolk to balance things out, but the tsukune that came had no sauce, more like slightly seasoned chicken meatballs, so the egg yolk was pointless. It felt like they just served it to look the part. The tebasaki that came last were so salty that even my husband, who feels bad about leaving food, said, "I kinda can't do this..." I've been to many restaurants, but honestly this was the first time anything was this salty; my tongue felt numb. I wondered whether they regularly do test cooking and tasting. My kid wanted french fries, which tend to be salty at lots of places, and I was glad we didn't order them. One of the small plates smelled half-dried and musty, and since my kid is sensitive, they said it smelled; my husband swapped it, but the replacement smelled too, so we gave up using it. The owner and staff were very friendly, and I didn't feel bad at all about the service, so I'd be happy if this review prompts them to take some measures.
View on GoogleA restaurant along my walking route. A seafood and tempura place; reviews seem good too. They have projection mapping. I'll upload photos, so if you're interested, why not visit once? Today I'm in the middle of a walk, so I'm thinking of coming another day.
